Terrible – This phone was the biggest waste of time I have had. I think i had the phone for only 15 months of a 24 month contract. The phone never worked properly from day one, the battery never held its charager longer then 2 - 3 days, it had the worst reception i have ever had with a phone, the memory card reader never worked, the FM radio never got clear… Read more
reception, the speaker kept cutting in and out so you would not know what the other person was saying to you. This went on for 12 months, then it went in to be fixed and was told that they could not fix it as it was not a problem they could fix, and then thats when my dad and i blew our tops and forced them to fix it, my dad even spoke to the ceo of the company to get it fixed and when i finayly got it back it still was not working so we just left the phone in the store canceled all 3 contracts and went to a different provider and got samsungs. Getting rid of the phone
OK – This phone has so many great functions and features and its hard to find another to better it. However I have had mine in to be fixed and it still dies, restarts or resets! Great phone for the photo/music lover. Would like it to be a little thinner though. Lots of features, Takes good photos. Flash, Two Cameras, Easy to Use Dies... Had it… Read more
repaired and new software versions updated and it still dies for no real reason. Gets confused when using iternet and cuts out.
Good – I have had no major issues with this phone, certainly none pertaining to software issues. The interface is easy to use and has good sized colourful graphics indicating where you need to go to change settings etc. The slide DOES feel a little like it might break as it doesnt seem to have been build with any padding to stop the top side sliding… Read more
violently open or shut.
The camera is of good quality and certainly is better than nothing if no other camera is available at the time. music playback is good, and the ability to set any mp3 as your ring tone is a good personal touch.
The phones quality...as a phone, is fine, I have had a few volume issues...so I just have to make sure my customers, friends and family speak up (or borderline shout) for clarity. This is the 5th Nokia I have owned, and i certainly believe it lives up to the Nokia level of quality. Stylish phone with games, multimedia, camera with flash Slide feels a little weak
Excellent – This phone is fantastic!!!! I have never had better. It has great graphics and the best sound!!! you gotta love it!!!!!!!! A++++++ you have to get it!!!!!! from the mobile internet. It has mobile internet which you can watch movies cartoons and documentaries!!!! You can save pictures on the phone or the memory card. you can connect the phone to your computer and save the pictures. On the mobile internet you can read the news, see the weather, watch the cricket, read what happen in the sport, watch mobile T.V., play games, see finance, your account, myspace, watch comedy mtv, read the T.V. guide, do puzzles, transport, racing, the lottery numbers, it is so much fun!!!!!! nothing bad about the phone!!!!!!!!!!
Good – Overall the 6280 is a decent phone which allows you to play MP3, video files and take decent quality photos which are able to be printed and they look alright. Such a reliable phone as well, no complaints. 2 MP camera with LED flash, great for taking photos at night. The video quality is decent as well and the ability to play MP3 files gives a… Read more
good replacement for a typical MP3 player. The user interface is decent as well and it supports video calls as well. The slide mechanism seems a bit loose. But it's still going strong after a year and a half.
Good – One tough mobile, easy to use, lots of features including internet access. I accessed the internet on my pc just through my phone, it acts as a wireless modem, but it costs alot so yea, not advised, but if you really needed to you could do that. I have had this mobile for a little over a year i think, and i have managed to drop it quite a few… Read more
times, however even with all the beatings it has received it still works fine, its a pretty tough little thing. The interface is easy to understand the the phone itself is very easy to navigate through, does not take too much getting used to. You can fit a memory card in there allowing you to record more videos or store more music, i have put in a 1Gb card in and can fit heaps of songs onto it and record 30mins+ video on it. Not many here, maybe the 2Mega pixel camera is a bit out of date but there are some options where you can customize image quality, quality wise its not perfect but if its just for private or in home use its not bad at all.
Bad – Very disappointing product and support from Nokia. They released a faulty product into the market and failed to accept responsibility for it. Their servicing is also overpriced. I think a reasonably expensive mobile phone ought to perform better than this and be supported more professionally. This experience has made me reconsider whether I want… Read more
another Nokia. good screen, good design. Poor implementation of a good design. The original software / firmware as shipped from Nokia was very buggy and poor. Fixes under warranty were ok but disruptive. Finally, after just 12 months of very careful use, and just out of warranty period, the phone developed hardware problems with being unable to access the telephone network. Nokia charged $30 to make an assessment and then quoted $240 for a "refurbished" replacement. I took the phone to another repairer and got quoted $140 for the repair. I'm still undecided as to whether I will get the repair done or just settle for calling this one a lemon.
Terrible – this would be a great phone if it actually worked! i always took good care of it, had clear plastic covers on to protect the screen, never dropped, used it daily but it just kept dying! i like the easy use of nokia phones but nokia have messed this one up! it has a big screen and is a pretty stylish phone the slide is flimsy, you always feel like… Read more
its going to break! iv had mine for just over 12 months and had it replaced within the first week of owning it as the side buttons jammed. had to have the software upgraded because of constant freezes and bugs in the system. had to have the keypad replaced under warranty as the left button jammed. it no longer reads any sim card and i am stuck with a phone that doesnt work and is out of warranty!
Excellent – It's got great clear reception (at times), mp3 player is really good, nice great and clear pictures, video not so (needs a bit more work on it), overall a decent mobile for casual use only not for mobile techs or even for business. Camera and video camera, mp3 player, radio, send emails, mms, wap enabled. Difficult to send emails (still struggling… Read more
how to send them), when using the mp3 player you lose some or all of your reception which meant for me to turn off and on the mobile to get my reception back. It's still good but i prefer the 3200 over this phone.
Terrible – Pathetic, poor, useless, con job, electronic nightmare, costly mistake, poor design,if you need a mobile phone for your business give this phone a miss it is a electronic disaster.......................purchase. expensive, cuts off for no reason, goes dead for no reason, 6 weeks and waiting for repair, customer service third world.
Good – I find Nokias hard to fault and this one is really no different. The features are great for a mid-price phone. Good value. I like the ability to synchronize with my PC using Nokia Software to back up my phone contacts, calendar, notes, etc. which takes the stress out of the potential loss of the phone - backed-up info can be uploaded onto a new… Read more
phone. This is my 4th Nokia, and the brand has always proven itself reliable and user-friendly. The 64 Mb Mini SD card that comes standard with the phone (or at least with my phone) is a bit low-capacity by today's standards. The plastic exterior looks and feels a bit cheap.
