Excellent – I did lots of research into which mobile phone to buy and I don't know still if I have the best but it's certainly ideal for my needs. I wanted to be able to use my mobile to call back to Oz from the USA and the UK and this phone's quad so that shouldn't be a problem. I wanted a diary, a calendar, a note book and all sorts of other whizzy things… Read more

the BlackBerry has...this phone's got all that and more (even has a stop watch so I'll be able to time myself running for the bus!) The screen display is easy to read (for those of us who don't enjoy perfect vision) and it's small without looking like you won it in a Show Bag. TIP! You'll find some fabulous perspex covers (from Australian and Hong Kong sellers) for the Nokia slider for only $4.95 (plus postage) thanks to the wonderful world of eBay! LOVE this phone...am sitting here staring at it willing it to ring. Go on...ring. Love it! Love it! Love it! Have had my Nokia 6500 Slider for a week now and it is absolutely brilliant! I have a BlackBerry mobile provided by my work and there is no comparison - it's like comparing sailing on board the Ark (aka my BlackBerry) with staying in a Presidential Suite aboard the Queen Elizabeth II (my Nokia 6500 Slider.) What an amazing phone! Is there anything it can't do? The phone is fabulous but someone could do with having a second look at the Instruction Manual (both the copy provided with the phone and the on-line version) because, for the life of me, I can't find any instructions for how to actually use the voice-activated calling? I did the training provided on the phone but then what was I meant to do next? Maybe someone can help me out?

Terrible – I do not recommend this phone. The number of problems I have had with phone (primarily, the uses of the phone that involve its calling and SMS functions) have been very problematic! It is a very 'loud' phone, i.e. it is perfect for playing music. The camera is also good in well-lit areas. Call drop-offs, overheats when calls are long than three… Read more

minutes, the keypad is very fiddly, I can not set a wallpaper any more (instead, it is a white background), cannot set a default ring-tone any more, freezes constantly, music player on the phone constantly changes songs mid-song for no reason. Additionally, the photos taken with the camera are very bad in low light situations (tends to made the photos very fuzzy) and zooming in is no good.

OK – Lately i have been having issues with this phone it has started freezing in the middle of a test message, and you have to start again. When on a call sometimes my screen goes white and hangs up. Not sure why this has been happening. This phone has been really good up until then. I do like Nokia and beleieve they are the best phone. Wishing to… Read more

Good – Aside from a couple of minor issues, I haven't had a problem with this phone in the 18 months that I have had it. Only problems that I have found are the speakerphone is painfully quiet, every now and then it changes the ringtone back to the old dafult Nokia tone and clears the wall paper image and if you use the camera it chews the battery up in… Read more

no time at all. All in all, it's a good phone and the camera works well. Casing made from stainless steel so pretty durable, looks great. Speakerphone is very quiet, poor ringtones

Terrible – I enjoyed this phone a lot until the day my screen just cracked by itself. I didn't drop it on the ground or apply any pressure to it. And the phone company said that I must have dropped it and of course it wasn't covered under the warranty. I went to the forum on the Nokia website and saw hundreds of complaints of the same thing. Obiviously a… Read more

badly built phone. Easy to use, good camera, stainless steel cover makes it look smick, good mp3 player. After 5 months the screen on my phone cracked for no reason and rendered the phone useless, very disapointed.

Good – In general this is a very good phone, especially if you are a fan of Nokias. I keep having the blank screen issue with my one, and when I make calls the phone can heat up very quickly, to the point where it can hurt your fingers. I have become used to the loudspeaker, which isnt that bad on this phone. It is very easy to text on this phone, and… Read more

the predictive text adjusts to what you use most often. When I turn it on the message part of the phone does not work straight away, usually takes 3 - 4 minutes. Great Design, good size keys, easy to use blank screen, overheats, missing functions (may be a carrier issue), weight

Good – I would get it...but if there was a better model i would aim to be buying for the better one. Still is a good phone for general every other day purposes, really well for texting, buttons aren't too big nor too small, just right. I would say this phone would last about a year or a year and a half until a new would have to be purchased. I have… Read more

this phone at the moment.

The big screen on it, loud speaker, 3.2Mp (Mega Pixel) camera, looks, stainless steel cover and more+.

And full-screen wallpaper display! unlike half the other Nokia phones, this one can display a full screen picture to the 4 edges of the phone! The mini SD card half the time doesn't work, and didn't really fit in properly!

It over heats too quick while talking on it.

Water damage is very bad for it! don't try for a drop as that's the reason why the phone is covered down in water damage!

Good – I got my phone almost the day it came out - i actually purchased the first one they had in the store - actually the only one! It started to cut out mid conversation without any reason. they told me to turn it off occassionally as it is like a computer. It has improved since then, and since the update i did on the phone. My son got one, and his… Read more

screen always goes blank - i think his batch was the faulty one, cos so many people have had this problem. But, overall it has been a fairly decent phone, and takes pretty good photos too! It's a good phone a LOT of them have a lot of faults and problems with them. TERRIBLE vibration- i miss calls all the time cos the vibrate isn't strong enough for me.

Excellent – I have to say this phone is what I would buy if not missing the GPS navigation.Everything about this phone just looks professional. I love this colour of steel which cant be found on most moniles. It feels solid and the features are all pretty good, not to mention it wins Apple's camera and with video function. If it wasnt the hype about touch… Read more

screen this phone is what I would have bought. The slider is beautifully done, and the screen is good enough to view things. I wish they redo this model to include what smartphone have nowadays. Looks extremly sleek no GPS
