Nokia 6710 Navigator (2009)

A so-so phone, some functions are superb like the Nokia maps and ovi store (however others are not) – I bought this phone primarily as a GPS device and it's fantastic. It connects to the satellite within seconds, and the maps are superb. You can download more maps from the ovi software for free as well as different languages. Also there are many free apps on the ovi stores, from games, to utilities, themes and videos. However, When it comes to the phone part, things get a little worse. The phone is slow at times. The menus are confusing and it is hard to find what you are looking for. Hard to configure WI-FI connection and the phone does not seem to have a permanent option to let you choose to use either wi-fi or internet wap. Buttons feel a little cheap and I am afraid in how long they are going to wear out (especially the middle button). Not fully customizable especially the desktop screen. Keeps connecting to my email server even though I have disconnected it. Superb GPS system, with maps from all over the world and superb voice guidance in different languages, lots of free apps on the ovi store Slow and laggy at times, Ovi software is rubbish, wireless keeps loosing connections, cheap plastics
Terrible – Very Dissatisfied by Nokia Service. Never gonna buy Nokia again. People - dont even think about buying this fone. You will regret it. 3.5mm audio jack, nothing else Keeps on zooming in and out by itself. Buttons sometimes stop working. Got it replaced by NOKIA 4 times and it keeps on giving same problem again and again. Checked online to find out this problem is worldwide and Nokia has done nothing about it.
Good – A good phone for what a phone should be used for, but with added features of camera with good Photos, music and sync with OUTLOOK. Quality and typical Nokia features. Good Maps and excellent navigation. ZOOM capability can be over sensitive to touch

I had the exact same problems as you. Took it to Nokia, with a simple update everything got fixed. Take it back to Nokia if your phone is under warranty hey will do it for free, if not they charge you something like $30. My phone has become so fast, no lag, no button problems nothing! The zooming issue is fixed too!
