Waste of money. Not durable – Battery does not last very long, sometimes not even one day. Screen is easily cracked. Issues with software as there are text message and other bugs. Pricy for what it is, would not recommend. Show details

love a phone where you have to think and not the phone doing the thinking for you. I hate smart phones so for me this Nokia was the perfect choice.
Milspec Back up emergency phone – Simple, rugged and cheap mobile that is perfect for farm and outdoor use where I don't want to use smartphone. you have to press "next". -Bluetooth does not sync with either of my cars (2019 & 2016) Messages takes about 15 minutes to alert you, unless you constantly check the phone, then it comes through.
Will not receive calls – Phone would not receive calls from some phones. Phone returned to vendor after 5 days. Phone started to send prompts from the Apps that came with it wanted user to play the games. Show details

4g phone with WORSE operating system than a 1980's brick phone – Bought the HMD Global (it has a "Nokia" logo, but that's all ) as a replacement for my REAL Nokia - 6233 I've had since 2005. Yes the old 6233 was a brick phone with the S40 operating system that did everything so trouble free and easily, but only has 2100mhz 3g which is fast fazing out in Australia. sound, 7-10 days battery life, surviving surf, wet concrete, 30m drops, and life in a tradie's pocket = I went for as close a replacement as I could find.
Nokia 800 Pro's = - No touch screen, so hopefully it doesn't break like all the other touch screen phones - buttons to push with grubby fingers or gloves - it has a torch that works ok - it works on the new range of network frequencies. Nokia 800 Cons = - Navigating through the menu to do anything is so limited - it isn't capable of doing half the stuff the 6233 does with ease. Unbelievable that after an extra 15 years of modern technology the Nokia 800 is as user friendly as a cactus. - battery life is advertised as 43 days (the only way this could happen is if the phone is turned off completely and left on charge) . ACTUAL BATTERY LIFE = 3 DAYS in "battery saver" mode. That's with no wifi, no bluetooth, no internet, no gps, no maps, no nothing - everything turned off except the ability to make a phone call. The big question is - "what is using the 2100mah battery in 3 days? " = my suspicions are a gps tracker that constantly marks your location - even though you turn it off. The old 6233 has a 800mah batt that goes a week without charging. - Size. I have included a photo to show the difference between a REAL NOKIA (6233) and a HMD Global phone with a Nokia 800 badge. - camera. Would you believe that in 2020, a new release phone runs a 2mp main camera ? Suppose I can't complain, the 15 year old Nokia has a 2mp camera too. I don't use the Nokia 800 for social media, browsers or email, just as a phone. = If it dies I'll be more relieved than upset.
