Nokia C2-01 (2011)

I wish Nokia would repeat this amazing mobile – * Great basic mobile, for people who do not want a smart mobile phone, and do not want a good mobile camera. * Excellent sound voice quality in calls. * This mobile has all I need. * It's reliable, handy, the text is good once you learn how to turn off the predictive text. * At the moment, I'm treasuring my 2nd Nokia C2. * If I had of known this mobile would be discontinued, I would have invested in a few.
(I do not like smart phones, as the screen is bad for my health).
I bought 2 of these Nokia C2. A contact of mine bought 3 of them.
I hope Nokia sees my review, and re-creates the Nokia C2.
Basic but good to use – This is a work provided phone which is just two weeks old. The phone only has basic functions but is much easier to use than my previous Nokia C5. It is also compact and has good sound quality. The Bluetooth was easy to set up in my car. So far so good! Compact, easy to use and good sound Only basic functions
Good basic phone – I've had this phone for about a year now, and it's a good basic phone. Text messaging is easy (if you don't have predictive text on) and sound quality is decent if you use it to make or receive a call. I don't use the camera very much but it takes okay photos too. It's a good inexpensive phone if you want something basic. Like other Nokias it's pretty indestructable too, I've dropped it a few times and although the back often comes off (and the battery falls out) the phone's never broken. I've had a few Nokias before and they're very hard to break, unlike other phones. Cheap, easy to use, small, basically indestructable Not many features, no front facing camera, small keys
Nokia Warranty useless! – A good basic little phone. Video recording not great but camera quite good. Was very happy with it until it got a black mark across the screen and as it was only about 6 months old I took it back to Target (where it was purchased) who then sent it to Nokia for repair. Over 3 weeks later I pick the phone up from Target and find out that it is not repairable and not covered under warranty as it was apparently caused by a minute amount of moisture in the phone - where the moisture has come from is a mystery - the best the Nokia guy in India could come up with was that there is moisture in the air all around us!!!!!! If it is that easy for this phone to become unrepairable there must be some design fault in it. Not happy with Nokia customer service - whats the point of having a warranty! I have always bought Nokias but this has really put me off. Basic cheap phone with good reception Bad warranty service - won't buy Nokia again!
Inexpensive good quality phone – I've had this phone for about 3 months now. While it's not as fancy as all the new touch screen wizz bang i style phones it does the job. It's pretty slim and looks good and the picture quality- 3.2mp is pretty good. Now the HD video recording is pretty average. It does the job but it's a little blurry. I paid $39 for it with the Virgin pre paid deal. It's got bluetooth, and 3G connectivity but no wifi. One thing I don't particularly like is the backing of the phone is a little slippery. If you don't grip it correctly when pulling it out from your pocket it can slip and fall. Connecting to email on 3G takes about 30 seconds. Very easy to use typical Nokia layout. Styleish for a cheap phone, 3G, facebookand email access. Slippery, Video recording average.
