Bad phone I have been using this phone for three years now and it has started giving me a lot of problems and it is very annoying to have to restart it every time to fix the problem. And every time I restart my device, the touch screen becomes very slow and almost unusable. I don't expect gaming to be smooth, or it's not smooth to begin with, but… Read more
sometimes when using apps it lags a lot. The speaker itself is also very soft and recently I can't hear my bluetooth earphones through this phone's bluetooth connection. I have no doubt that this is the worst phone I have ever used and I don't trust Nokia anymore.
The worst – With out any doubt the worst mobile I have ever had there are so many faults/issues I strongly advise all to not buy this mobile and buy one that is user friendly I am on a disability pension and trying to do screen shots on this phone is a nightmare my last 2 mobiles were not Nokia and I had no issues with doing anything on them This NOKIA is the… Read more
worst I even had issues with bubbles with writing on them that would not leave the screen and block the key pad so I could not use it even the Tech at Harvey Norman could not fix it I had to power it on and off to remove the bubble without doubt the worst AVOID big time even worse if you have a disability like me going back to a to other brand the stress is to much
No warranty or support for defective device! – I've had my Nokia G21 for a couple months. Recently the loudspeaker died so it would no longer play ringtones or any media out of the phone. I tried a warranty process and they denied it for absolutely no reason. Phone is slow and the battery is okay. Make no mistake, this isn't Nokia anymore! HMD owns Nokia now. Show details
Capable and useless at the same time – The most capable annoying phone. Needs to be restarted often. Don't waste your time with it if you like to do a lot with your phone. Otherwise does the job most of the time. Show details
Disappointed, think twice before buying – I've already had this phone repaired under warranty. New board meant new IMEI number. The phone freezes, the camera is woeful as is the sound. My LG k42 was much better. A very disappointing purchase Update March 2nd 2024 The phone died today and won't restart or charge. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL NOKIA. My wifes phone is doing the same and Ill be… Read more
returning both back to kmart. A complete waste of money. If you value your data dont buy as if it turns off as mine did and wont turn back on the info if not backed up is lost. This is absolutely my worst phone purchase and Nokia know they are selling phones with a faulty bootloader. Edie two. The phone wakes up even when the double tap is switched off. This drains the battery daily. I repeat, do not buy this model Edit Aug 2025 The phone continued being problematic. Randomly freezes. Needs soft reset regularly. Its a piece of rubbish. Do not buy Edit January 2026. This will hopefully be the last week with this crappy phone. Even after repairs, new board the phone keeps freezing, overheating. Resets do nothing. The nokia g21 is a useless phone and HMD nokia should be ashamed. Ill go back to Motorola.
Terrible phone. What a dud – Got this phone for mum from a Vodafone store. Switches off randomly, takes up to 20 minutes to reboot. Can't screen shot, bad camera. Light display dysfunctional , when using YouTube light is uneven and flashes. Sound is terrible , lags and apps crash. Phone hangs up during conversations. Slow, clunky with poor choice of button placement.… Read more
Really poor quality and an absolute pain.
Vodafone wants to send it away to be fixed, they can't fix the bad design and cheap-out software.
Really awful.

I have left it on all the time now.
Today's youngsters or young Families walk around with their heads down on the screen/tuned out of everything around them & multi-tasking they say and they want the fastest phones. but for the average person around my age 62 it will be essential to have one. within say 4 years. I use the phone for web text messaging Facebook Google etc is what I use EBAY etc if you want an average phone you can do quite well with this one but if you are not like some of us playing games on it and watching movies may be slow for young people but is a great phone with a Decent Name all is fast to me Thank You NOKIA

Wow, 2 much to remove now I certainly can say Yap on! (sorry) I like to tell it all in a story
Hate it! – Bought Nov 22 because it was android works off a network that is the only one covering large parts of regional Victoria. Does this but also turns features on and off just being in a pocket and carried around. The useless feature telling you how long your call was or how much space you are freeing up comes up over the google input area and prevents… Read more
its use until cleared and can't be turned off. Weather is wrong - up to 3.5 deg different temp to BOM and there is no way to override it. Swipe function works sometimes and not others.
Switched off after a few days- then has to be rebooted – All we know is it worked after charging, then switches off at any time. Out of date service by 1 month. As it was bought as a birthday present, we didn't check, until a couple of days after 1 month expiry. Office works policy, could not be replaced lapsed time. Now off to Nokia to be repaired, been 2 weeks still no reply. If we do get it back we decided to flog it off, and buy a more decent mobile. Show details
Definite pros and cons – Pros: Battery life is superb! No matter what you do, all day, you never have to worry about the battery. Lasts up three days, and charges fast. Best feature. Simple and uncluttered OS, widgets work well, easy to monitor phone health, plenty of inbuilt storage. Camera is as good as you'd find, takes great photos and video. Cons: Seems to run out… Read more
of memory often. Processor can be clunky. Not great at running multiple apps. A restart is often the only way to fix issue. Display is dull. Full daylight viewing is difficult, showing photos doesn't do them justice. Not even close to being as durable as other or older Nokia's. Easy to break screen, 30% of purchase price to replace.
In short, simple, slow, dull phone that does everything it should, just not all at once, but has a battery that lasts for ages!
