N70 Music Edition – I've been using the N70 Music Edition for about 2 months now and have been impressed by its ability not just as a mobile phone, but as a music player, camera and all around personal device. Despite the slowness of the Symbian OS, this phone impresses with the included 1GB RS-MMC card that enables the phone to effectively replace a user's personal… Read more
MP3 player. The only real drawback is the slowness of the operating system, and given the fact that this is a smart phone it's probably not surprising. It takes up to 30 seconds from turning the phone on to being asked to enter a PIN code, and that's why I hardly turn the phone off unless essential. Camera quality is good (but not good enough for the phone to be your standalone camera), and it takes surprisingly good quality MP4 videos with reasonably good sound quality. The keys are on the smallish side, but I haven't found that to be too much of an issue. All in all, a good representative of the easy to use Nokia family, although if the OS problems were ironed out this would make the phone much better. Ease of use, looks great, big screen, good camera quality Slow at times, no infrared,
Bad – It's old now, and it's considered bad manners to speak ill of the dead. Was way over-priced for what it was. The protection for the camera lens- from the good old days before manufacturers realised they could make phones even more throw-away by failing to protect the camera lens with a 50 cent part. Great Snakes game pre-installed From day One… Read more
having to switch off, reboot, so often because things wouldn't work.
Battery was bad from day one, also
OK – At first thought it was a great phone until it started playing up. When my hubby was trying to ring me one day I couldn't answer the phone and he said it kept on ringing and ringing. Thought I wouldn't answer my phone until I showed him that it was playing up. It would work but when the battery started to go half way of use it would freeze… Read more
everytime someone tried to ring me. When kept fully charged it would work go figure? Started to get disappointed with it when played up I've had a string of bad luck with phones and I'm still hoping to find the right phone for me to use but then hubby gets his hands on it then they all get broken by him lol. So I'm on a hunt to get a durable phone if I can find one. :) Good quality photos and videos, came with memory card to store music and those precious moments. Able to upload photos and videos on computer, clear reception when speaking with someone. After 15 months of use started to get slow, froze and had to turn phone off and then on to reset. Someone tried to ring me and I couldn't answer the phone cause it froze. A bit heavy and bulky.
Excellent – This was a trusty little phone when I owned it and I would still be using it if I didn't break it accidentally! I would highly recommend it! attractive design, has amazing features and everything you could possibly want in a phone, trusty nokia brand never fails to impress and is ever so reliable, great battery life and such a bright screen, heaps… Read more
of different extras you can purchase for it, can pick them up just about anywhere Is a bit too large to fit comfortably in a pocket, is harder to understand and use than other nokia models, can be a bit expensive
Good – I did like this phone once I had got used to it and found the voice recognition when making calls quite good, you don't have to record the name for each phone contact as it recognises what you say. Mind you sometimes it makes mistakes if the names are similar. The tones were ok and the volume was adequate. The buttons are small and take a bit of… Read more
getting used to. There are many features on it that I didn't use and fortunately they could be removed. The memory is expandable via a SD card. I did like this phone but hubby got me a touch screen phone so I made him have the Nokia as its such a good phone. I would have this phone again though. Some of the features. Voice recognition is great when ringing via bluetooth. Bit on the large side. Lots of features that I wouldn't use. Buttons are a bit small.
OK – Well, this phone used to be a great phone in the past but with the constant technological improvements, this phone was beated up by the technology. I can still use it with a lot of comfort even though it started to operate very slowly. It seems a bit rude to me. I mean the phone is not elegant enough compared to the ones that Samsung produce all… Read more
the time. Having 2 cameras, one front and one rear, obviously is an advantage for mobile phones. Also, sound quality is extremely good. That's all I like in this phone. This phone is operating very slowly when its memory is about to be full. Its fairing starts to fade away over time. Also, this product is a bit heavy compared to other brand new phones in the industry. Moreover, texting is not an easy task to do in this phone. It is a big phone.
Good – This phone is a great one and sports many qualities like 3G, 2Mp Camera, video and a large screen. The buttons are small but it has an easy user-inteface that will be easy to understand. Enjoy! Great Phone! It sports an excellent 2Mp camera that has flash and with 20x digital zoom. It has a sildindg cover at the back of the phone that you slide… Read more
above the camera when it's not in use to protect the camera. It has a large screen and an easy user-interface. It is 3G and has a VGA camera on the front of the phone for video calls, it can also record video. It has bluetooth, a radio and can save songs on the phone to listen to them whenever you like. It can take memory cards. The buttons on the front are reallr small making it diificult to call people. Phone can be a bit slow(taking long to load folders) at sometimes.
OK – I like to phone, except because it's extremely slow. I don't like the MMC card but I bought a 1 gigabite and now everything is smooth. My friends can't type SMS's with my phone because the keys are too small. My phone fell a lot of times, but when it fell outside on the street, a part of the plastic broke. Nokia's are very strong and are hard… Read more
to break, so this phone is a good one, but I think you can get a better one for that price! + Energy-Save function
+ 2 camera's (3G phone)
+ Loud speaker when playing music
+ You don't need to remove battery when changing Memory Card
+ The camera has 2MP
+ Camera is protected
+ Viewing Pictures & Video on 100% full screen
+ Multi tasking - After 5 months my battery was bugged so I bought a new one...
- The buttons are really small so when someone else is using my phone, it's hard for them.
- Slow phone
- MMC was a bad choice as Memory Card because it's not popular.
- Screen is dirty
- No ability to change skin/font color of your phone at the out-side.
Bad – Woefull and I would assume an Nokia warranty or product guarantee worthless. If your in business and require a video phone give it a miss It occasional works. I bought 2 as I employ one person and we both experienced the same problems, the phone is so slow you end up using either someone elses or a land line if you have the option. Backup from… Read more
Nokia is non existant I had two matching bluetooth headsets that worked for the 1st month and then failed as did Nokia by not honoring its warranty. So overall not recommended.
Terrible – i wouldn't Recommend this phone at all, got two in a package and between the both of them these are the problems experienced, most of them happen on both, very disappointed phones only 7 months old!!!!!! It is well set out with menus, camera ok, good storage phone is slow, buttons play up, changes ring tones, always links to the internet… Read more
