Nokia X20 5G

The phone is good but the company does not meet expectations – The phone itself I find to be quite good; as good or better than the Samsung models I had previously. The battery charge lasts the day but I'm not a heavy user. Strong housing, comes already with outer backing case and screen cover. Most of the functions work well. This is my second Nokia phone. I recently upgraded due to a good offer with a particular provider and office goods supplier. My preference is to support companies who, based on the best evidence available at the time, have better credentials in terms of environmental responsibility.
However, the company is lacking, perhaps due to being a relatively less popular brand. A recent warranty claim (black screen even though phone was on) was handled well at the shop I bought it from but took six weeks because it had to go to Sydney (I am in Adelaide), the only Nokia service centre. Other brands often have a couple of service centres in each state. The repair was duly completed and the phone was returned polished, with a new screen protector, and I cannot fault the actual repair centre.
As my phone is also my internet connection for home use, I couldn't really be without one for six weeks. So I bought the cheapest Nokia available at $157. Not many people can necessarily afford to buy a second phone, and for me it now sits in a draw. I believe I should have been given another phone or at least some kind of loan-phone if there is such a thing. This involved setting up the new phone with my current SIM and then doing some re-setting on my X20 when it was returned, both a little troublesome for me without a wonderful tech-sense. I have tried to provide feedback to Nokia but with no success. I wrote to an address in Melbourne that was supposed to be a Nokia office but the letter was returned undelivered.
Nokia will need to lift its game for me to buy a Nokia phone next time.

Terrible product. Anything else would be better – After only 3 months of use, the phone was bricked by a standard update. Because the bootloader is locked it had to be sent in for repair. Over a month later, I cannot get any details about the warranty repair or replacement.
It's All About Google – If you love everything Google then you'll love this phone as it's built around it. VERY invasive and in your face. Notice an increase of spam junkmail since I've started using this phone. Nokia definitely took the lazy way out by incorporating Google into everything. After closing everything Google, the phone in itself is average and works ok but I've had better for cheaper in the past. Lots of irritating features such as one setting for both notifications AND incoming call volume control where's as every phone I've had had a controller for each. Value for money? I'd happily hand it back for a refund and get a Samsung
Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for $600.
Still crying – This is the slowest and most undesirable phone I have ever had. Features are rubbish. I purchased it because it had 4 yrs of firmware updates, which when updates stop the phones start playing up. I should have purchased another Motorola. They are far better than this piece of junk. I can't wait till I break it, or through it out the window somewhere on the highway.
Purchased in for $800.

Well I finally got rid the XR20. Sent it away to get the microphone fixed, it had to be restarted regularly everyday to make and receive calls. That was a couple of months ago. It still hasn't returned. So I suspect that it got lost somewhere. Said goodbye to a $700+ phone. Yippee
