Was good when I got it but quickly became awful, apps constantly freezing, processing is so slow the phone frequently goes to sleep while trying to open the most basic web page. Android auto cuts out constantly using either cable or wireless. No wireless charging and average camera.
Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi for $800.
Customer service is awful – The Nokia X30 5G is an excellent phone but my has developed a serious issue and I'm having an awful time trying to organise a repair. The repair website has an issue and I can't print the connnote. Nokia themselves are being unhelpful, and as usual they don't have contact phone number. I have tried several times to solve this issue but Nokia don't seem interested. The warranty will run out soon.
Purchased for $345.
No great and very disappointed – I needed a new phone after my Samsung Galaxy Note9 finally died. I was hesitant to switch brands as i really do like Samsung phones. But I was sweet talked by the sales person into the Nokia X30 5G instead of the Samsung Galaxy A34. Though this NOKIA phone is okay. It has many downsides compared to Samsung (In my personal opinion). 1. I use my phone heavily for work purposes, and this has been a BIG mistake! Camera is below average, Sound quality is poor at best. Phone layout is messy, screen brightness is uncomfortable. 1. the speaker is terrible, just terrible sound. I love streaming YouTube and audiobooks, and now it's just a bad experience. 2. The homepage options are limited and frankly could be way better organised. despite being able to add folders it feels so underwhelming compared to Samsung's options and layout. 3. The camera is woeful and gallery option is limited to Google Photos (Which I dislike). I need it for my work, so I was pretty disappointed. 4. You Tube doesn't run smoothly (could be a connection issue but I have never had issues before now) 5. The Display and contrast are off, night brightness sensor is dreadful, the display of contact list, messages, and homepage seems blah, untidy and hard discern items apart. The upsides so far... 1. It was reduced for $850 down to $449. 2. It is a comfortable size. That's it. I am regretting every bit of this purchase, and have learnt a very valuable lesson. When you find a brand you really like, STICK WITH IT! Don't listen to a sales person, you know what you want and like. I will be going back to Samsung as soon as I can afford to. Sorry to any Nokia fans. This is just my opinion.

Great phone - no replacement parts available – I have enjoyed the new X30, was a good upgrade from my last mid range Nokia. Until I dropped it and no spare parts are available in Australia, only through the authorised repairer. Located in the NT sending my phone to Sydney for a week is not a viable option when it could be repaired locally in a day if parts were available. Seriously considering that this might be my last Nokia after nearly 30 years.
