postcode. My bank account details have changed, and I now have no way to update them with the NRMA. The NRMA service was so appalling I have had to contact Bendigo and close my account to stop the NRMA from taking money. Needless to say, I have new business car insurance. It wasn't the fact that I made a mistake, but the joy in which the service centre took in advising I had no way of updating my details. Something simple turned so hard. Absolutely terrible customer service. Atleast send me an online, safe form to update? I am not sure if it is your policies that need updating, or your staff needs training. It is not ok, I am an honest person just trying to do the right thing and update my bank details, so my insurance continues.
Disgusting Customer Service – Never before have I experience such a disgraceful and unprofessional experience with an insurer. To be told that they do not recognise my 40+ years of loyalty whilst declining a legitimate claim speaks volumes. I have since moved all my personal & business insurance to GIO and not only saved thousands, but the efficiencies in making contact and establishing new policies was so more pleasant.
Unhappy customer – Had a public liability insurance and when the renewal email came, I responded that my business isn't trading and wanted to cancel the policy. Feel very supported – I can't even tell you how grateful I am towards NRMA. We had business insurance through them. A tree fell on our water treatment system. NRMA were fantastic to us. Avoid at all costs - they will suck the life right out of you – 3.5 months, myriad of unanswered complaints after total loss in a fire. Won't accept information to further my claim, Darpana my case manager just hangs up, all cover up for each other, information that shows negligence and breach of essential fire safety measures ignored. Worst insurance company ever, Blame back log of claims as an excuse not to address yours. Show details

Plumbing missed two crimps in plumbing works in Nov 2020. Get quotes (not an easy task in current trades marketplace), now told I can only have shower area retiled, from a different batch of tiles obviously 2 years later, so my beautiful bathroom of 600x600 brand new tiles is going look like two half jobs. OMFG what a joke this is. I'm so angry, I can't even express it. Best I can do is reflect Jetset Plumbing did the job, Crawford (Global Technical Services) assessed it, and NRMA are doing their best to get out of covering what it will take to give me back the brand new and uncompromised bathroom I had before works by Jetset plumber stuffed it.

Extremely poor service when it comes to making a claim – We have been waiting more than four months for our business interruption claim to be assessed. We have been passed around from person to person, from "Specialist" to so-called "Specialist" and numerous calls with the loss adjuster. These people do not care about you. They "Have a job to do" and can go home every week with their pay in the bank… Read more
whilst you struggle having lost your business due to the NSW bushfires, not to mention COVID. Don't bother with them, they are no help at all. Will be removing all my insurances away from this disgraceful company. I challenge all the positive reviews, I suspect they were incentivised. I intend to go to the media if my complaint with AFCA does not result in an outcome in line with the loss adjuster's recommendations. We have been through complete devastation. Happy to collect/Wont pay claim – Had the policy since 2003. It covered pretty much everything public liability, income protection and theft of tools of trade. Had a claim early on and they were terrific. Not much trouble in the ensuing years till March this year. Must add the premiums jumped significantly a little like Sydney road tolls small but often. $320 a month. In March all my battery tools were stolen. Made the police report and forensic officer attended. Spoke to [name removed] at NRMA claims not sure why they don't use last names. She was most reassuring but some wacky demands. Supply photos using said tools. Empty cases and user manuals. Was awaiting surgery at time so I pursued Bunnings for any and all receipts for missing tools. This was tricky but fruitful located receipts for approximately $2000 worth of tools. At this stage got a call from [name removed], another nice person who assured all was well and I would be compensated for the full list of tools regardless of receipts. Must add spoke to the bad cop in between, she was a piece of work but cant confirm name I sent the list, they in turn sent claim form, stamp duty exemption etc Filled these in and returned. Pretty happy then received call from [name removed] saying claim had been denied because I didn't take a photo of forced entry Even though police attended and they were informed one hour after the theft occurred. Enough I priced a new policy and terminated nrma they had the audacity to ask why after such a long association. I had paid more in premiums over the period of the claim than I sought, would of kept paying overs for insurance so really lesson learnt Check what other companies can do each year and leverage a Fair premium Had similar experience with a car claim with a car claim. it's now nearly midday, so I assume they've been serving customers for at least 3 hours now] - they weren't jaded; they bent over backwards to help and Dylan in particular went out of his way to be able to help.
