Nûby Grip-n-sip

Doesn't work – I don't know why I bought this as I have tried two other Nuby sippy cups which don't work (one I bought from Reject Shop so put it down to being 'rejected'). This cup doesn't work. It is impossible to suck from - as another reviewer explained, must be because of negative pressure that builds. Waste of money.

Ok for water, not milk – Purchased this for my 4 month old who wouldn't take a bottle. Great for sipping with water but flow is too fast for breast milk or formula. Easy to clean, lock lid into place and doesn't spill at all....however daughter is now 7 months old and still can't control the flow of the milk...will be switching to another sippy cup....flow is just way too fast.

Extremely poor design – I was really disappointed with this product. Very poorly designed. The spout can easily be pulled away from the circular plastic housing allowing liquids to flow straight out of the cup. Air release valve fails to release the pressure in the cup. Grip handles were good. Poor design, leaked so much due to the spout becoming dislodged ALL THE TIME! The air release valve doesn't function, meaning that when baby sips, negative pressure builds up in the cup and sucks the spout down into the cup, rendering the cup useless.

OK – Ok. But have better nuby products. Teat design is a bit silly, always moves sideways when you screw the lid on and falls into the cup easily. Picked it up very cheap, has a lid Doesn't fit much water in it. I find that i have to fill it up too often. Silicone teat slips in if baby is pushing down on it while drinking. Baby doesn't like it as much as it is quite heavy when full

Good – These are the ONLY cups that I have bought that don't leak and my son can drink from without having to lie down or lift up to tip (he can't manage that yet). But since the silicon straws broke (I guess my toddler chews on them when he drinks) I had to hunt down replacements which really annoyed me because I thought replacements would be easier to find when I bought them. they're too expensive to buy new ones every few months. So easy to use. Children can drink easily while sitting upright, so car trips are easy. Cool design. Can wash in the dishwasher. Valves let thicker liquids through so children can drink pulpy juice. Stupid silicon straws crack so easily and are not easy to replace, the supermarkets and chemists don't stock them so you have to buy online and pay extra for shipping. What a waste of money.
