Nugget Concrete

Like the other review 1 star is too many. Botched the job, levels out considerably. Poured wrong colour, haven't come back to seal the job (which they said they would do because it was the wrong colour) won't answer phone calls, text messages or emails. Now taking the matter to the Building Commission.

Very happy with work done Oct 2024 – Very happy with the job. Done within a timely matter, reasonable cost no hidden costs. Very happy with quality of job and staff were friendly and polite. Seen some bad reviews on here after giving deposit, which made me worry before getting the job done but all was good and not disappointed.

BEWARE once you've paid they disappear – BEWARE!! They WERE good UNTIL after I paid the bill... Now they are not answering messages or answering phone calls. They also under measured the area by $6,000 & they made a thin & very squint track for my electric gate which had to be redone. The electric gate concrete track was supposed to be 300mm deep but we discovered it was only 85mm deep… Read more

& when a string line was put down for the metal track it was plain to see how squint it was. Sadly their After-Sales Service is non-existent!!! Multiple calls & messages to try & sort out but they are ghosting us! Have had to lodge a complaint with consumer protection!

weeks ago I rang to get another quote to complete the job they originally did, no response for a week, one day I rang an I spoke to the owner, who said he'd been away but his Dad does their quotes now and he'd get him to call me, another week went by, called every other day and txt no response, finally he answered and said hed contact his dad again, Dad finally rang me arranged a day and came out to do the quote, he came and measured up and said he'd send the quote the next day which was a Saturday, nothing, kept msging and calling, Tues he asked for my email said he'd send it asap, it's now Sunday still nothing, I have emailed the owner, rang his Dad, left voice messages and txts, extremely disappointed and annoyed that after spending $22000 with these guys on the first job this is the treatment I get, the job is only 20m² and I told him on 2 separate occasions that if he didn't want the job to let me know and I'd get someone else to do it but he assured me initially he was happy to do it, but obviously they dont want it so I'm over them, will move on to another company. When I sent a msg telling the Father not to bother with the quote anymore as I'd had enough of being messed around by concreters, all I got was a thumbs up. When the boys were running the business they were good, it seems that now their Father is back in the picture and is potential customers first line of contact the business has gone down hill badly. I finally got the job done by [Name Removed] and his team at GMP Contracting who did a way better job and at a good price I'm very happy with the results, pics of GMP below
