As a first time homeowner and therefore having my first experience of dealing with a Strata I had only been filled with nothing but horror stories. I’m pleased to say that my experience with Oakfield Strata has been nothing short of outstanding. The willingness to meet and communicate and educate about issues related to Strata is nothing short of astounding, I recommend Oakfield Strata to all.

Teileah and Chayla have been amazing and very responsive in assisting me with our short-term rental properties within their Strata buildings. They are always professional, helpful, and quick to respond. I highly recommend their support. Lovely to deal with a professional team.

Courtney Smith was a pleasure to work with and made the delivery of an infrastructure upgrade within a Strata premise simple. What can typically be a lengthy process, Courtney’s clear communication and quick responses allowed the project to progress quickly. They have threatened lawyers on us for this post but what my comment states is nothing but facts Avoid I do not recommend Oakfield at all. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. From the very start of our contract we had issues. Our budget was not done correctly, communication and service were absolutely terrible. Excuse after excuse was made for lack of service. Dissapointed is an understatement.

afterhours – Had a leak which needed attendance during some heavy rains and used the after hours service and had someone out to assist within a few hours.

Needed keys cut – I tried to buy two spare stairwell keys for my appartment. I should have had 3 but the previous tenant refused to hand them over. It took three weeks to get the keys. Even then, I had to call the people who were cutting the keys, after getting so many excuses that were security keys and which take a very long time to get cut. I get these cut all… Read more

the time and know that is not true. Once talking to the key company, not only did they just get the order the day before, they said they can do it overnight. To make it worse they only had an order for one, not two. This is just one example and not the worst experience either. I would wear out my keyboard on the other disasters. So dissaponting and frustrating.

not stopping leaks. Now the owner needs his internal ceiling replaced in at least two rooms. 3) They take weeks to answer emails, they do not provide quotes for major jobs, I ended going directly to a firm asking if they would honour their quote that was out of date and then I organised time and date for quoted work to be completed (this is Oakfields job as managers I believe). 4) Don't know what happened to all our complexes records from previous company, apparently nothing was handed over. Codwallop they should have requested those records. 5) Conflicting advice passed to the council, no responsibility for incorrect advice given, not even a sorry provided. 6) Being told on the phone by the manager that the only reason why I questioned something was because I was best mate of a unit owner, my job as spokesperson of the council is to find answers to questions asked by owners (unprofessional). 7) Failing to action a quote, then sending it again weeks later asking us to approve it as it had changed(everything was exactly the same including date written, quote number and costs) , what I believe happened was they lost our approval and instead of owning up to their mistake. they tried to cover it up(I am not fkn stupid). 8) In breach of their management contract, no site visits and provision of incorrect advice when asked. 9) 5 emails from our council informing them we are not renewing our contract before they realised we were leaving. 10) We have insurance work needing to be completed, they never claimed and let the contract lapse, owner affected has now been left in limbo, before signing on the most expensive insurance renewal quote without approval from the council of owners. Do yourselves a favour, I would steer very clear of this firm as I have had nothing but stress trying to deal with these people for the last 11 months.

[Content Removed] enterprise resorting to blackmail and [Content Removed] do not deal with them. Call the police. From [Name Removed] – .With the evidence I have I asked the ACCC to review them. The response was to report this firm to local police and or the SAT. This company is in breach of the old blackmail/extortion ACT of WA. extortion. The lawyer apologised and withdrew the demand, the lawyer was cautioned by the legal practitioners board. I do not know how much my strata fees , as they do not talk so my scheme was $500..00 per fortnight which is $12000 per annum. They always ask for more. Except for threats. This company does not answer my phone calls ( very aggressive gate keeper/reception) or my emails. They have now sent a notice of pending court action with a filing fee of $850 odd dollars ( I know that to launch a writ is $75 ) more extortion. The matter is going to SAT, my next action is to call the cops. They changed their name from ifresh ( sounds like a grocery shop) to Oakfield If anyone out there has the misfortune to deal with them “ be afraid be very afraid “; However as most bullies think they are sheep in wolves clothing this mob are still sheep in sheep’s clothing”.

Polite and prompt assistance – Spoke to April Wade today in regards to a query. April was so polite and helpful, she had took my details and issues down told me she would call me back In a couple of minutes. And that she did resolving everything just like that. I had spoken to someone the other day and was no where as helpful as she was thank you April Wade. Really appreciated it

importance. Do you want to speak or converse directly with senior management to escalate your issue - sorry that is not allowed, instead you have to ring the landline and hope they will decide to accept your call. Where is the accountability???

I have a 1 bedroom apartment in a complex in East Perth which is strata managed by Oakfield Strata. There has been a leak in the ceiling in the bedroom since January this year - that's 6 months now. Our tenant cannot use the bedroom because the leak is so bad. They are sleeping on the floor on a mattress in the loungeroom. I have pages and pages of emails sent to Oakfield Strata asking for updates and when this will be fixed and all I get in return are vague responses and no resolution or end in sight. Incompetency beyond words.

I have had to compensate my tenant weeks of rent as they cannot use the only bedroom in the apartment.

How hard is it to fix this issue that has been going on and on for 6 months!!!

has been unable to sleep in the bedroom, and I am now more worried that the ceiling may collapse. The lack of communication and incompetency are frustrating my tenants, my property manager and myself. Too many excuses for each time when they don’t respond or handle the matters accordingly. Tried to speak to the higher management and escalate the issue, haven’t heard back yet.

Oakfield awful, terrible, deceit – Deceived into being transferred from IFresh to Oakfield. beyond bad. On a side note, all of my comments are backed by evidence. Our insurance has been messed up, minutes took over a year, PO not actioned for over 12 months, nothing actioned etc . We have called , emailed, had meetings for over 12 months comments to improve but does not happen.

We cant leave them as they deceived us into a 2 year contract .

Their staff must be getting hammered. It is not their fault but we were sold as a listing and I guess the buyer has not stepped up to accommodate new clients. The end result higher fees, increased prices for a major project as quotes have expired and they will charge us to eventually leave them at he end of 2 years.

Really really upset as owners have a feeling of being bullied but you cant not do anything as you are trapped .
