Disappointed – Unable to turn off as per instructions. Have to pull cord out from the bottom to turn it off which often results in a spill. Wouldn't recommend this diffuser. Ends up being frustrating rather than calming. Show details

I tried x3, they were all Faulty – This item was bought from Chempro Chemist at Tweed Mall. I had NO trouble returning ‘the first’ faulty 3-in-1 Oil Diffuser Unit and getting a replacement from Chempro. This Unit had stopped working about a week from purchasing it. No mist, no water moving inside the bowl. The 2nd 3-in-1 replacement lasted around the same time. These are not my… Read more
'first' Diffusers as I have x2 more different brands working at home. I do know how to clean and maintain diffusers but will always defer to the provided Manufacturer Instructions'. With 'both' of these Diffusers the 'vibration' that causes the water/vapour inside the unit wasn't working. Easily seen when you add water and when turned on it should instantly 'bubble' up. I returned the 2nd Unit to Chempro and asked if it could be 'visually' looked at ‘not working’. I was always given the option of a replacement or refund from Chempro. Wanting to stick with 'Oil Garden' and the very visually pleasing 3-in-1 Diffuser, I agreed to try a 3rd and final Unit. The last ×2 were from different batches. I also contacted Oil Garden via email and relayed what had happened and asked for any information regarding the returned Units. I mentioned that I was told by Chempro that Oil Garden had issues with these Units a few months back. A Return email from Oil Garden had said that they ‘did’ have Diffusers that were returned that when they tested them, they were actually not faulty(?)… I can definitely say that the Oil Garden Diffusers I have tried, have indeed ‘stopped’ working. For whatever reason there must be a ‘fault’ somewhere. The Return email also suggested I try a few HANDY HINTS that they listed for me. Please note that one of the HANDY HINTS was to align both the air outlets from Base and Lid together to operate “effectively”. Unfortunately, nowhere in the instructions that come with the Diffuser tells the consumer this and the diagrams most definitely show the air outlets NOT aligned. If in doubt, as a consumer, I think we refer to diagrams when instructions aren't helpful. Which means for this Diffuser, everyone who follows the diagrams is NOT using it effectively. That is their words NOT mine. Back to the 3rd Unit. I had it for x3 days when I noticed it had stopped. There was no liquid left inside the Unit so I unplugged it and brought it to the kitchen bench. I noticed it was quite wet underneath the base which was a concern so I ended up taking a video. I cleaned it out first and refilled it slightly with tap water. There was a significant leak from the bottom of the Unit which you can see clearly on the video. The photos I have attached show the Diffuser unaligned, leaking, email handy hints, diagram from instructions, picture of Oil Garden Diffuser with air-outlets aligned. As you can see, it isn’t what the diagram depicts. Aesthetically, it looks better with the Logo and buttons together.I’m sorry, the upload for the video wouldn’t work(?) Conclusion... This will be returned again to Chempro for a refund.
Oil Garden Ultrasonic Diffuser 3 in 1 – Bought from Chemist Warehouse for $36.99 in Melbourne VIC. Cons : Leaves water droplets on unit when on ( refer to pics) im afraid this could in time can damage unit lid and ruin the appearance of it. Pros : A Compact appealing Modern design Its an easy quick set up No issue with fucntionality Barely makes any noise Overall happy with it & would reccomend it Show details
Noisy possibly dangerous – Very noisy, Leaves a lot of water around the unit. Lid doesn’t close tight. Stops even if water in reservoir. Poor design with power input. Show details
Poor , leaves area around it wet and with electrics quite dangerous – Was given this as a gift, looked great, scent was lovely when used, but consider this to be quite dangerous as it bubbles out water droplets and the surrounding area becomes wet, sat on plate with chux underneath and surprised at how wet it became. Not safe to use very disappointing. Show details
Not perfect, but I really like it – Overall I love this nice "wooden" egg, it's true that it makes all wet around, but you can put a cotton rug under and/or change continuous mode to intermittent, all solved. I read some reviews complaining it stopped working after a few uses, it happened to me at first, but I think it occurs if there's too much moisture around, leaving it to dry a… Read more
bit, it works again. Since then I only use the intermittent 30 sec mode, and it never failed again. Design is lovely, nice night light, good amount of steam, very subtle watery noise, ...I just love it.
Wet saturated mess within a foot diameter – I bought because it was cheap and looked nice for my sons room to make it smell a bit better and provide him with a night light. Okay so I do own other diffusers and am fully aware how they work and how to use them so this one should be no different. Well it works fine but only for half hr- anything longer and the mist just ends up creating a… Read more
water pool within a foot diameter circle around the unit and including the unit. Im not talking slight dampness Im talking about saturated soggy mess requiring paper towels and a hair dryer to mop up the mess and dry it properly. .this was the case since purchase.. i kept second guessing myself thinking maybe I had done something wrong but nope.. was used correctly. On the last time this happened i could feel tingling when i moved it so it had at this point breached into the electrical supply. There was obviously something wrong with it.. I took it back to Chemist warehouse. I did not ask for a replacement.
