Olimpia Splendid Piu Questions & Answers

Which size hose (in diameter) will I require for the Piu Cube 16? They are available on Olimpia website for $75 plus $20 shipping. I saw hoses available in bunnings/ ebay for much cheaper. They basically come in standard sizes of 5 or 5.9 inches diameter. Does anyone know the correct size for this model? Also do I get clockwise or anti-clockwise hose? Thanks

Hello my unit is blowing hot air and none of the buttons are functioning.... I can plug it in and it switches on (only to blow hot air) and I have to unplug it to turn it off... none of the buttons work

Why does my olimpia splendid 18P blow cold for 15 seconds then warm ambient air for at least 60 seconds? Fan low, on cool, set to 24°c Australia, all the filters clean, vent installed correctly, absolutely peeved off spending thousands for something to blow warm air at me

Hello, we have found the PIU16 to be very reliable. Is it recommended that I permanently drain the PIU16 when in use? Will this affect the operation of the unit?

Hello. My air con is not cooling. I cleaned all the filters, unscrewed the back and removed all dust ( bought 2nd hand so needed a good check over). There is no air coming out of the ventilation tube that connects to the back and attaches to.the window either. Could it be a simple fix or does it sound like the compressor is faulty?

I have a olimpia splendid air conditioner and it has a mind of it's own... it shuts off randomly , has a f1 error code and now stopped blowing cool air , I have turned it off and on , unplugged it from the wall cleaned the filter , I'm now going to empty water thing now , ok just did the water thing and still blowing hot air and I tried holding down the power button for more then 5 seconds to remove the f1 error and it wont go away please help unsure on what to do next I cant tell the model but the filter is on the to back center and the drain for the water is on the bottem and its rectangular it's on my wall hooked up through the wall and gos outside , it also has a lip /flap , let's say a mouth that opens and closes with kinda looks like bars in the back of the mouth

control panel buttons on Piu 16 not working. this was not a problem as I used remote. Now after cleaning filter F1 message wont go away and pressing off button does not help as it does not respond. ( I don't think the control panel ever worked but did not get it fixed. now warranty over :(
