Just konked it – Had Dishwasher for between 5 - 6 years. Size was good for my small home but has never cleaned well. I am single so the dishwasher was never over used. Circulation pump just died and I will spend the money upgrading rather than repairing as I never been happy with it. Show details
Excellent value for money and quiet! – Nice quiet machine and we like the fact we can lift the top shelf up and down to accommodate larger dishes. Cycle seems a bit long and the way it's designed means we have to look carefully to choose the right cycle unlike a dial system where it's straight forward and don't need to keep re-setting. Apart from these minor issues it's a great machine and certainly good value and much quieter than our previous one. Big thumbs up form us! Show details · 1
Rusting and falling apart after only 7 Months!!!!! – Not only has the cutlery tray disintegrated but all the trays now have severe rust and are breaking off in places. Am in the process of requesting a refund as this product has not even lasted 1 year so am not keen to use another Omega product again. Very disappointed. Show details
Customer care fail – This dishwasher is okay, but it doesn't clean dishes brilliantly, the cycles seem extremely long, and worst of all; now, at only two years old, the top basket has begun to disintegrate, and the fibres of whatever is underneath have been sticking to the dishes. Ewwwww. I contacted Omega to tell them and got the most indifferent and blasé response… Read more
in return. There's not a lot out there for smaller dishwashers but I wouldn't get this one again. After my interaction with Omega I doubt I would get another from this brand.
It does the job – I have been using this dishwasher for a week. It is a good size for 2 people and I put it on every second day. The noise level is acceptable. It is not the quietest dishwasher around but not the loudest either. I have been using aldi powder and rinse aid. It works fine and the dishes are really clean and shiny. I leave the door ajar to finish off… Read more
the drying as it tells you to do in the manuel. There is a really strong plastic smell when it is on and I am hoping this will go away with more use. The sticker on the front that shows energy ratings is VERY hard to remove.
Best kitchen idea for our granny flat! – We love our dishwasher and it was small enough to fit into the kitchen. Everything comes out very clean provided you stack it correctly. The big dinner plates need to be slanted at a sharp angle so you can't get much once you start putting in a couple of large dinner plates and it's not the quietest dishwasher around but it's great for our little family. We leave the door open once the dishes are clean and find it dries perfectly afterwards.
Great little dishwasher for good price – Could not afford to replace excellent Bosch 45cm so would have been happy if 'wild card' Omega lasted just a few years. Been more than pleased with performance. Over 4 years and going strong. Better cleaning of top rack items. Bit hungry with rinse aid and cutlery holder design needs improvement but good value product.
Great - with some limitations – To Ness who complained of dinner plates not fitting - the top basket/shelf can be set at two different heights. Once we adjusted this our plates fit just fine. Our cutlery basket has disintegrated over time and we need to buy a new one. Otherwise this washes great, can't complain!
Standard sized dinner plates dont fit – The machine works well. Rapid function great. Other cycles are very long. Most dishes come out clean but I find I have to rinse them off first to get the best results. We've only been using it for glasses and excess cups when we entertain but recently started using it for dinner dishes and standard sized plates just don't fit. Well they do on the… Read more
bottom shelf but the spinner hits them and then everything else doesn't get washed properly. I can't recommend if you want to use it for the purpose it's designed.
It is HORRIBLE – We've used dishwashers since 1985. This DW300XA appears quite new and came with the house, 4 months ago. Not being square the circular washer misses all 4 corners, including most of the cutlery tray. Cups in the corners end up filled with gunk. It has never got a spoon clean. Make space for a better machine. We will.
Cleans unbeleivably well – Does the job of cleaning dishes wonderfully using powerball and finish rinse aid. I wish it had an auto off feature rather than having to physically turn off the unit. Versatile and easy to stack. The normal wash cycle is used most often and leaving dishes in after it beeps ensures the dishes dry with the residual heat. Show reply
Great budget dishwasher – I only had a 50cm space to install a dishwasher and Bosch 45cm was basically twice the price that we could afford at the time, so decided to give the omega a try. Its good for up to 2 ppl in the house. I was surprised, when stacked correctly it gives me perfect cleaning results. It doesn't dry very well on normal washes but it is a very basic… Read more
dishwasher. I found that putting it on an intensive or heavy wash the water is hot , so after the cycle is done I just open it to let the steam escape and it dries very quickly.
Pretty good but not perfect ! – We replaced a similar slimline Bosch with this machine. It is pretty good but not quite as good as the old one which to replace would have been twice the price. The cutlery basket is unstable and is not secured so sometimes falls over. It generally washes pretty well - we usually have it on the Normal cycle using Finish tablets and dont have the… Read more
same issues with detergent that others have mentioned. Overall is it pretty good value compared to the euro machines and works well. The first machine received by courier was damaged due to poor packaging so I recommend checking thoroughly before signing off on delivery.

Dishes are Worse Off After This Machine – I think if I peed right onto the dishes I'd end up with a better result than this machine. It needs cleaning twice a week just to get some clean dishes without a weird white build up, and only the most expensive dishwasher detergents will get the dishes mostly clean - at least 50% of the dishes need rewashing afterwards. I'm just glad I didn't… Read more
pay for it and it came in the house I bought - the second I save up for another one I'm going to burn the stupid thing. A machine made this badly needs to be destroyed as if someone took it from the kerbside, I'd only feel sorry for them. It can be used to store dishes until you have time to wash them by hand. It doesn't actually wash the dishes. You know, because it's not like you'd buy a dishwasher to wash the dishes.
Pay more for Quality!! – We have recently purchased the Omega DW300XA. The operation of the dishwasher is quiet, with excellent wash times. With a family of four kids, and after not having a dishwasher for two years, the wife finds it a 'God Send'. The dishwasher does not like tablets much, but works fine with powder. Wash quality is good so far, but it is only new. Wash cycle time. The price! Show reply
Fantastic Slim Line Dishwasher – I only had a small space to put a dishwasher and I chose this one - so glad I did. Easy to connect and washes dishes really well - even without rinsing. Top shelf is easily adjustable and all of my dishes fit in. I run it two to three times per week and have had no trouble with it at all. On the rapid wash the dishes do not dry as the… Read more
temperature is lower - but it says that in the book. On the longer settings the water is hotter and the dishes dry. Any residial water from lips of lids or dishes can be dabbed with a towel. I cannot fault this dishwasher...a great price too. Slim Line - Freestanding - Fits lots of dishes in - even though it is a slimline
Good compact dishwasher at a good price – Picked this model up as we have a small kitchen and needed something that would fit the narrow cupboards we have. This was the cheapest model, found online at Appliances Online for $500 (free delivery). I can't speak about the installation process as a plumber colleague of ours did it for us free. Coming from a full size Bosch dishwasher in a… Read more · 1
previous house that was quite simply superb, this dishwasher has/had a big reputation to live up to.
It has been installed and working for approximately four days so far. We are a family of four (two young children) so there's quite a bit of dirty crockery being generated. I have found that, because the model is so small (45cm wide), it fills up quite quickly and you need some forethought about how you're going to fit everything in. Large pots and pans need hand washing because it is just so narrow.
We had some trouble working out how dinner plates would fit on the bottom rack. In the end, you have to remove the small plastic end brackets off the top rack, slide the rack out, lift it up so the wheels are on top of (rather than within) the railings, then put the plastic brackets back on. Dinner plates now fit!
I am not too concerned with the noise - it's while not the quietest dishwasher you'll ever find, it is certainly not intrusive.
I think the dishwasher will give us good service. Now that we've worked out how to raise the top rack so dinner plates fit, that was my last concern dealt with. The buttons/dials feel cheaper than the Bosch we had previously but that's probably to be expected considering the price of this Omega. I would have preferred buttons for each of the wash cycles rather than using the dial to switch between them. That's only a minor gripe though. If you're used to using a full-sized dishwasher, it comes as a bit of a shock that it is so narrow so you have to mentally redefine what it is you can fit and how you fit it. Overcome that however, and there should be no problems. If I encounter any issues, I will post up another review.
Works well with a family of 4 – We just put a new kitchen in and decided to install the omega Dishwasher it is good can not fault it as I have a family of 4 and it works really well it is not as quiet as I would have liked but it is still good. I do how ever like the compac size of it as well. I like the compac size of the dishwasher even though it maynot be quiet it washes really well It doesnt dry the dish at all so when I unpack it I still have to dry them.
Omega 45 cm dishwasher – Perfect for a couple or couple plus one. Good size, nice look.packhed well. Really wasn't sure about the small dishwashers until tried one army aunties house ,we were four ppl there and used to run it once a day. If u don't have a big kitchen go for one, was really easy to install. Compact size. Fits in quite a lot. We usually Run it once a day,… Read more
that breakfast and dinner dishes plus pots. Nothing wrong, not as quiet as I would like it to be, very minor though. Doesn't completely dry, however operating very well and cleans the dishes great.
Omega - A great little dishwasher – A great dishwasher for apartments between 2-3 people. The size allows you to do a full load everyday as opposed to waiting to fill a larger 600mm dishwasher which starts to get smelly. Generally the overall performance is fantastic and even better then a fancy SMEG I had in my old place. My only concern is that it has started getting louder. It… Read more
was quiet to start with yet now i can hear alot of the motion inside...slightly annoying. That said I am happy with my choice as it does a great job and does not take up a huge amount of room allowing for a great kitchen apartment layout! reliable and cleans dishes and cutlery well started getting noisy
Amazing product – Needed a small compact dishwasher as i had limited space and Appliances on Line provided the Omega DW300XA compact dishwasher. Great price and does a wonderful job . my wife absolutely loves it Never have to argue about who does the washing up now as the omega does a fantastic job.Easy to operate quiet, and love to sit back and let it do the work. Highly recommended Reliable, quiet, good price, Fantastic service.
Excellent Slimline Dishwasher – Ummed and ahhed over dishwashers and redoing the kitchen to try and FIT a 600mm dishwasher, in the end we purchased this 45cm dishwasher on 21/07/2011. Replaced a cutlery drawer section and put the dishwasher in during the evening and was happily running it the next morning with a mountain of dishes. No more arguments about who does that… Read more
dishes!!
The space thing... I thought I was going to have issues with the space, but I am really surprised at how much I can cram in their and everything still comes out really clean! To give an idea of space here is what I have found: It has the option to move the top drawer up higher (which we have done) so we have a nice big bottom drawer to fit Corelle Square Dinner plates (26cm) with their Luncheon plates (22cm) by their side. All up at the bottom we can fit about 8 Dinner plates with 8 luncheaon plates, plus the cutlery, space for 2-4 bowls, 2 small chopping boards and a frying pan in the bottom shelf. Top shelf can then fit about 5 mugs 8 high ball glasses with about 2 beer mugs and 1 or 2 wine glasses, and then layer any knives or cooking utensils (usually about 3 to 4 of them ie. spatula, whisk).
After being concerned that it may not fit all dishes, saucepans & bake-ware in, and the water rating is not "excellent" like the 600mm dishwashers claim to be, overall I am very pleased with this dishwasher. We defiantly recommend it for anyone that does not have enough room for standard 600mm wide dishwasher. Slim - fits perfectly in a small kitchen; Can fit in: plenty of plates, Frying pans, wine glasses, baking trays. Had an issue with the Rinse Aid in the first week but after reading the manual it is all good now.
