broken within 7 months , warranty doesn't cover shipping cost of parts, no pick up available ! – NC1002HDC juicer locking clip and the part behind it cracked and broke unfortunately, despite very careful use within 7 months of purchase. Omega has no real in interest in looking at it to see if there is any other issues with the machine for it to break like that prematurely. They just sent me a link to order the replacements for the broken products and advised me that the shipping cost for those are not covered by insurance . Shop is located in Queensland and there is no option to pick up . I think this tells me that Omega team is not interested in providing satisfactory customer service to ensure customers are well looked after. It feels as if just do something to close the claim / no holistic approach .Despite relatively high prices of their products their service is not of good quality .

BUYER BEWARE... worked great until it broke after 11 months and no customer service to help!!! – I have thoroughly enjoyed the functionality and ease of use, of the omega NC1002HCD Cold Pressed Juicer that I bought from Australian Vitamins Online Store only 11 months ago before it broke. I usually only juice celery, on average once a week. However, I have made an apple, carrot, parsley and ginger juice a few times as well with great success.

I did a lot of research before I bought this juicer and felt that this was the juicer that was able to extract the most amount of juice out of celery and other vegetables. I also loved the 20-year warranty which would give peace of mind, and should infer a high-quality machine.

Whenever I make a celery juice, or the juice mentioned above, I ALWAYS cut the pieces as small as possible to ensure not to put undue strain on the parts of the juicer (being plastic), as well as to help maximise the amount of juice I get out of the vegetables. I also intentionally alternate the vegetables I put through the juicer to help with this process (eg. a few small apples pieces, parsley, a few small carrot pieces and some small ginger pieces)

Then a few months ago when I was making the apple, carrot, parsley and ginger juice (as described in the process above), and had only just begun when all of a sudden, the head of the unit broke. I was shocked. Please see photos attached.

This is very disappointing indeed. My understanding is that Omega is a high-quality brand that should last over 20 years.

I have already contacted Australian Vitamins, who have told me to contact contact omega direct.

Unfortunately I haven’t received any reply from omega which is very disappointing indeed!!! I’ve emailed twice and no response in 3 weeks!

No good having such a good warranty if there is no customer service. Sounds like I would have been better to have bought a less expensive unit!!!

I was warned about the fragility of the head piece by a popular American who reviews juicers on YouTube , but thought that the Australian stock might be better. Alas, it doesn’t seem to be the case!!!

Kind Regards,

Justin

Just thought I’d do a quick update to the above review. After the significant delay in responding, I was finally sent a replacement head for the unit. The replacement head looks a lot more sturdy and has been working well! Hopefully, it will last longer than the original head.
