Why does the water not drain out?

Neil
Neil

Hi, as a user the main reason after does not drain out can be 2 things. First the internal filter at bottom is clogged and needs rinsing. The second reason I found on a previous machine is that the hose connected to the sink drain also had a blockage. Check the hose connected to sink drain pipe under sink.

Where do I stack my long stem wine glasses? And why does the bottom shelf collapse when I put dinner plates in there? Have only just bought and not happy!

Hi Jim, whilst this is an entry level dishwasher, hence not over fancy, I stack long stem glasses on 2nd shelf with the slim grey adjustable clip on racks supplied. My bottom shelf does not collapse. Check that the small clips on rack hinges are clicking in place .

I've never had an error message on the machine so I can't help you with that sorry. Is it in the instruction book?

I can't change program settings and when I press the program button the dishwasher turns off. Any ideas?

Julie29

Is it still under warranty? It may be a fault. I haven't had any problems with mine now it is up and running. It sounds to me like there's something wrong with it as I turn POWER on, then press PROGRAM then START and it's fine. I pretty much always run on the 1 HR wash as it's perfectly adequate for most things.

I agree with Julie29 Adrian, I suspect your dishwasher is faulty and I'd be seeking a refund/warranty call on it. I just do as Julie29 has described with no problems at all.

Can you describe where it's not closing? It wouldn't be the cutlery drawer obstructing it would it? Or is it something in the actual lock/close mechanism?

I have odw717wb/xb. Can't understand why it does no dry the dishes. Have tried everything but to no avail. Can someone please tell me if i need to adjust something?

Julie29
Julie29

My dishes always dry pretty well even on the 1 hour cycle which I use pretty much all the time. Open the door a little to let the steam out and they should dry. I know if you wash at bedtime this isn't necessarily possible, but they tell you in the instruction book to open the door to assist drying. I put mine on in the mornings and I'm usually home to open the door. Hope this helps.
