Worst Real Estate Agent Experience Ever – I want to share with you my experience dealing with [Name Removed]. My husband and I purchased a personal property from [Name Removed] and we had a 60 day settlement. When it came time for a simultaneous settlement the purchaser of our property couldn't settle due to a bank error, so they asked for an extension of 2 weeks. [Name Removed] agreed to 1 week and we could move in. We packed up all our belongings put them on the removalist truck and headed off on a 3 day road trip. We are half way on day 1 of our drive and we get a call saying [Name Removed] has reneged on the deal and is now pulling the house off the market. The removalist truck is gone, and we are now homeless. We call [Name Removed] on the phone to find out what the hell is going on. She tells us "she is getting cold feet and has decided not to sell" We explained to [Name Removed] that the removalist are on the road with our belongings and if she pulls out we are homeless. Her response to this was heartless. Then on the morning of day 2 we are driving along and our Conveyancer explains to us that by law the seller can not pull out of the deal, only the purchaser can. This just showed us how incompetent, and unprofessional [Name Removed] was, not to mention cold and insensitive. We were able to retrieve the funds within the extension period and offered her settlement. She still refused and was trying to get out of her contract, it wasn't until half an hour before the settlement time that she accepted she had no where to go but settle the deal. This was a nightmare of an experience dealing with [Name Removed] from One Agency Coolum and I hope this has saved someone else going through the same experience we had.
