hands it falls into has the fortune of spending it. How a name as big as VISA can have no protection on their gift cards for loss or damage and the inability to issue a new one if full funds are still on there is beyond me. It’s a half arsed ploy to make money with no security or protection offered if something goes wrong. Customer service not even based in this country, so loud I could barely hear the person on the phone and the line cut out twice. Asked to speak to supervisor who wasn’t even available and never called back. Even website to activate card was constantly experiencing system errors and took more than 5 attempts on different days to activate it. Truely disappointing for such a big name and basically a scam!! Better off giving the person cash!

I have an Only one DINING card. The card has not been used and despite me checking the correct amount is still on the card. I have tried to use this card a number of times over the last few years and has not been accepted. Can someone please, please let me know where it can be used....

BIG SCAM. Don’t buy this gift card. Your loaded money can just vanish before you shop. Poor customer service . Raised a complaint and they have sent me a statement of transactions which I’ve never used …

Have had absolutely no problems – I can't understand the 1 star reviews as I have purchased many of these cards and after following the instructions, have had absolutely no problems. Bought them from Woolworths during their 20 x points promo and have used them at numerous retailers.

not as bad as reviews say – I was a bit anxious with the number of negative reviews. I registered the card at the second attempt. Was able to view my balance. Used the card online to check if there was going to be any issues. The payment went through without any issues at all.

$100 Fuel gift card 2022 – I used my gift card at an iga store in Victoria. It was a $100 fuel gift card & wasn’t sure if it would work but it did. Simple to use just swipe in atm machine & select credit & press enter. Im not sure about other gift cards but a fuel gift card does work at a Iga supermarket. Merry Christmas

Website isn't working, can't check my balance, card expires soon, telephone not answered. UPDATE: Support has answered my email and after initially refusing to make my monies available to me, I have now been offered a replacement card.

all without any problem except this one I never heard something like that. Who will ask for the person’s gifted the card to you‘s information ? I don’t remember who gifted to me.when you buy gift card it’s the basically cash money in your card. Why for activating the card I should give someone else’s information. You can have my details,my license number and my address in case if any fraud happens you can use it not the person information who gave it to me as a gift.very bad excuse to keep people’s money.

Awful gift card! Zero stars!! Not secure and customer service will not help when funds have been stolen from your card. Very disappointed and will not be using them again!

it was outside of the 60 days. I explained how I checked this card probably a week before these transactions were made and when I finally attempted to use this the money was gone. I would never ever buy another card from them as they are the most unhelpful, useless company that doesn’t care for their customers. They should be ashamed for the lack of support they should me as a victim of fraud not even suggesting a way they could help.

Absolutely poor. We only opened used the card today and it has a balance of $100. Tried using in store and it was declined. Checked balance and only showing $16.45 even though we hadn’t used it. Very frustrated and no customer service number to contact for support. The website on back of card doesn’t work. Card doesn’t expire until 2026.

Absolutely pathetic. Visa gift card is a waist of time . I paid cash for a card I'm coming up nearly four days with no activation. Lying Thieves – Do not buy this product. Fraudulent thieves that lie. Card wouldn’t work and after contacting subsidiary company Blackhawk was notified that it had been used and credit was gone. Not sure how this company hasn’t been fined yet for illegal activity. Stay away from them

Terrible gift card. Do not use – Save time and money- just give cash. -The card does not work on eftpos systems that require a PIN number (most of them) -It requires a $5 activation fee so you are paying $55 to gift $50 -difficult to use online with purchases over the provided amount. (Mixed payments) Do not buy.

SCAM! – I am unable to activate the card, and have no idea where it was purchased, and so cannot contact the vendor. Only1 customer service and helpline are both absolutely useless. I am left with a $50 gift card which is useless. DO NOT purchase one of these cards, they are little more than a scam.

$1000 are still yet to work. It’s so appalling how I’m not the first person to experience this either, as their reviews are horrendous. I’ve filed multiple complaints with the company and consumer affairs also and have been getting nowhere. These guys just send you in circles and screw you around hoping you give up. If you’re thinking about going into business with this company, don’t. If you’ve already gone into business with this company, I feel sorry for you. ludicrous. As a recipient in another state of this card this bizarre solution. An automated open and closed email response to my queries in the same second of being sent is their only response, still three months later. This card model is simply fraudulant.

PROBLEM SOLVED, ATLAST USED MY ONLYONE VISA GIFT CARD!! – Problem solved. A) confirmed the balance on my card by calling Only One automated service. accepts the balance on the card ie $20 which I swiped on eftpos machine pressed ‘CREDIT’ on it and it asked for pin so I pressed ‘ENTER’ and IT WORKED!,,, You must know how much credit is on your gift card.

Don't add 'www' before website – Back of the giftcard says to visit www.only1visagiftcard.com.au. Note if you don't add 'www' to this address, the website does not execute and is flagged as suspicious. This is because the person overseeing the IT is eating crayons.

have to use a pin. Just to swipe the card and select credit. Well, at two different shops there was not an option to select credit, it instantly asked for a pin number. There is no pin number on the card. I am going to try an online purchase with this card and see if it works. If it does then I will update my review. Also want to add that just to check the balance of the card, I had to give a few personal details and make an account. Why? It seems like a lot of hassle for a gift card and definitely seems off. So disappointed and very wrong if this is all a scam! Someone gifted me $200, and all the other people on here that have been gifted with one and ending up having bad experiences. Does not work in store use it to buy a gift card online instead – I tried numerous times to use this card instore and it would never work despite having a balance of $430. I tried to contact customer service but it is a recorded service and impossible to speak to a 'real' person. I almost gave up and then decided to give it one more try by using it to purchase a Myer Gift Card online and bingo it worked!

Scammers – Scam!! How they are getting away with this is unbelievable Given a $100 gift card as a present, went to us it, invalid card. Rang the contact number on the back, diverts to India. Hung up on after 5 seconds 3 times in a row. Scam Scam scam

Dodgy visa gift card – Got a $50 only one Visa card for a gift tried to use many times with no luck. Tried to contact no luck can’t talk to anyone on the number provided.

Scammed - and website is down – I was gifted a $100 card and when I opened it for the first time to use it the transaction was declined. I checked the balance and found transactions on the card leaving the balance at $21. Their website is down and there is no way to contact them.
