Closure account for openpay – I know openpay has ceased. But does anyone know how to actually cancel the account as it still appears on my credit rating as active.
Openpay is great, makes shopping easy – Bunnings got me onto openpay, and I been using it ever since, it’s great for when you ain’t got enough cash on you. And the repayments are great and easy.

make more payments on the account, that same day openpay sent the bill to recoveries corp, dept of trading can't help because it's at a credit collection agency even though the account isn't in arrears, got a call from recoveries corp to ask when we can make payments said we can fix the rest owing when the other money that was taken be returned to that account, then a few days later in the evening openpay takes $70 from account again and gives no access to see where the money goes, you would think if the app isn't working and they are still taking money of people you think we could see it on the app but not use it I think a whole lot of people would sleep easier, We will try a current affair next see how that goes, Oh yes sorry FAR KEW OPENPAY zero stars

Absolute shocking customer service – Returned item which I paid for on open pay- store refunded back to original payment method, which was open pay. were on about.. all for them to in the end tell me they changed policies and it’s up to the seller to refund me now if they want- meaning they have refund from the seller as well as money from me which they have decided to keep. I understand your crappy company has gone into liquidation but seriously…. Absolutely mind blown to how stupid, rude and unhelpful your “customer service” team is. It’s been over a month since I have been trying to get money back which is owed to me and now I just haven’t heard back from your so called customer service team. Also, over 40 min wait time if you do want to speak to someone however no point as they are belittling and don’t understand simple things.
Also, up until it came to new management/ trying to receive a refund- I had no issues with open pay and used them for several purchases. They obviously just stopped caring since changes were made. Good thing they’re closing down.
My garden wouldn't be the here but for openpay, thank you I love open pay – It makes going to Bunnings more fun as I can take part in the specials. Essential for any gardener
OPENPAY allows me to get essential items when I can't afford the full cost of an item or car services etc – Many times I've had to use OPENPAY to buy something essential, But only recently my car's power steering pump seized up , then it caused the drive belt to snap and this caused several serious problems to my car which made it totally unusable. So I rang ULTRATUNE Norwood Adelaide and they do OPENPAY, thus I immediately booked the car in urgently because I need the car every weekday for work. OPENPAY saved the day as I didn't have the $1,400 that was the eventual cos to get my quite extensive Falcon repair done very quickly.
Then around the same week my wife accidentally hit a large kerbing in the middle of the road and caused over $2,000 destruction to it's right hand side suspension and steering sytems , extremely damaged her NICE RECENTLY NEW SSS NISSAN PULSAR. Luckily my wife also has OPENPAY this we were able to get her car repaired immediately thanks to her OPENPAY.

Top notch service, all round, couldn't be happier – This is my second year of using openpay, I couldn't be happier with how slick, easy and most importantly a convenient way to BNPL. Such a shame! – Very disappointed. Openpay helped get my kids back to school at Office Works and fix emergencies with Bunnings, even at Toy World for Christmas when I couldn’t afford the lumpsum costs for 4 children. Much prefer Openpay to other major BNPL companies. Very sad to see them close.
Was the best bnpl – I was sorry to read that Openpay is no longer operating. Longer plans than Afterpay it was a great option for more expensive items at Officeworks and Bunnings.

BE VERY CAREFUL $9.50 SCAM – At the moment I have given one star because they wont allow me to do none. I used Open Pay while it was available, was never late with payments and actually liked it. day. The app says I have NO active plans and ALL plans are completed and I owe $NIL. BUTTT!!! since paying this out I have now had 5 lots of 9.50 payments taken out of my account with no explaination. Everytime I put money in that account they help themselves to lots of $9.50 payments (so far over $50.00. I have sent through emails to support but not response as expected.
Scum of the earth – Randomly taking 9.50 fees out of my bank , even when I take my money out of that acc the still manage to overdraw my acc I have no overdue payments they are doing this to so many people just cause u have gone bust doesn’t mean u can just randomly take money from ppl account can’t even leave money on my card cause of u guys !!!!!

Refund kept and management fees – Openpay refused to refund my money back (months of generic 'fob-off' emails) and even though the company has gone bust they still have the gall to charge management fees on top of purchases. Their 'management' is fraudulent.
Be careful – Someone has hacked my account and used my account to start new plans. Hopefully I see my money again that was taken from my account without my knowledge. Rubbing it in by asking me to do a review when I’ve been hacked.
Absolute garbage – The app says I cannot use it until I make payments. When I've never even used it before. It now won't let me delete my bank card from the app. Dodgy as.
Good While It Lasted – Was good While it Lasted till Today 7/2/23 as they have gone bankrupt 80 Openpay Staff Lost Jobs & No one Can Use this Platform Anymore As i am Writing this Was Good To Use Throughout my 2 Years Have To Use Another Platfrom Or worse Go Back to the good old days of Saving Money in a jar to afford
Great . Good plans you can choose from – Really good when you can choose a plan which is affordable to your needs, this allows you to spend more on an item and spread your payments to suit.
Probably won’t do it again – The initial setting up was messy. When I finally got through to someone who knew how the system should work, they had a problem that required me to start the whole process again.
They will leave you high and dry! – Open pay has for some reason cancelled my up to date account with no real explanation everything is above board with me and my account. So be careful because they will do a credit check and despite being a good customer they will shut your account down with absolute no explanation at all.

Don't use it – If I could give less than 1 star I would. As requested by their verification team I have emailed a photocopy of my driver license and a selfie holding my license next to my face. document requested, I received an email saying the account has been verified successfully. Tried to login the account is not working. Call the customer support who refused to hear that I received a confirmation that account has been approved and just keep repeating that Medicare is not sufficient type of identification and driving license need to be provided. She refused to get supervisor or put me through to verification team. I was considering to use openpay for my business, but after this experience I have change my mind.

It's a good product but it needs to be more flexible – If you don't have a comparable phone you can't use it.a card would be better if U don't have a comparable phone needed it to buy phone to be comparable but could not ended up paying cash iits Of no use if you can't use it Show reply

Easy and simple be – Being customer over 2 years ,in the beginning I had bid of issue with the customer service support team,since then,they improve the service,the app is simple and easy to use ,will recommend openpay to friends and family. Greedy money hungry company – Due to unforeseen circumstances my account was sent to indepted. I had never missed any payments with indepted, received all the emails saying that my Openpay account had been paid in full but Openpay are telling me I still owe them money. I got back in contact with indepted who are telling me that my account with them from Openpay is now closed… Read more
and finalised as it has been paid and no new accounts have been sent to them. I got back in contact with Openpay to discuss this matter further and today I received an email saying that they have closed my account down because of repayment history but can’t provide me with any further information!!! Their customer service is disgusting and they refuse to acknowledge that they made a mistake!!!

not in my account so I rang back again, this time I was told that it could take between 3 to 7 days for my money to be refunded, and that because I had already made a purchase I couldn’t use their service until that money had been returned, even though I had not made any purchases. Because i owed over $600 for the purchase that never happened. The help centre is not in Australia and therefore very hard to understand and not very helpful anyway! The first time I rang the man i spoke with said he would put me on hold to go look at my account and he’d be back but obviously after looking at my account thought it was too hard to deal with and hung up on me. After being on hold for over ten minutes!
