Have had the new Oppo A5 pro for 1 month... as its linked to a Gmail account constantly getting Google -- Junk + emails + updates that you don't want or use ??. As for trying to turn it of at times -- Good Luck !!.. some engineer came up with the idea of pressing 2 buttons on the same side simultaneously to shut it down.. Very rarely you will get it first time.. maybe after 4 to 10 times it may work and often just leaving it on over night with frustrating shut down mode procedure !!! or dealing with it coming up with 2 other options / processes you don't want ??.. Would Not Recommend this phone for this reason !!.. And for the price ???? ...hmmmmm... Only good point so far is good battery life ..

Purchased at JB Hi-Fi.

My 5yr plus Huawei died, and replaced it with the Oppo A5 pro. The phone itself is ok, and camera is complicated and average in comparison. However with the Oppo everything take 4-5 clicks to do what one click could do on the Huawei,on top of that you will get relentless pop ups , half screen unnecessary system notifications, constant lockscreen full of Oppo junk, and very awkward navigation in Google chrome. All of this is hard to turn off, and after a lot of hours trying to get rid of Oppo junk you will find it is impossible to turn off much of their bloatware . Definitely the worst phone I have ever owned and would not recommend for any user unless you like playing mind games with your phone to do simple things.

Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for $450.

Non Existent Customer service. Website states the User manual has not yet been released. Phone is unreliable at best and is certainly an unstable platform. I advise not purchasing from Oppo.

I recently purchased this phone as a replacement for my four year old Samsung. I was hesitant leaving Samsung but I have been pleasantly surprised. I didn't need a mobile with all the bells and whistles but the Oppo has all of these at an affordable price
