OPPO is terrible brand, stay away from them – I bought a Find X5 pro phone Nov 2022 and OPPO was running a promotion that gives a bonus OPPO Pad. Ever since we paid the phone, we are never able to get the bonus pad. First we were told it was running out of stock, then after a couple months we were given a $500 voucher. Now it has been more than 5 month, they are still telling me no OPPO Pad… Read more

in stock and I cannot pay extra to upgrade to a higher model. The only option I have is to pay a gap and buy another phone on their website. I don't need another OPPO phone and I am not impressed with the quality of the X5 Pro I got, battery drains quickly and is very hot. I am going to take this to ACCC. If OPPO cannot honour their bonus product, they should not run the promotion. I had Huawei and Xiaomi before and never had problems with them.

Great, getting on to 2 years old – Love this phone, old now but a goodie. Will buy the new model when this dies, if it ever does. The only minus is I don't think it's waterproof. It it was it'd be perfect. Increasing battery life would be a smart move by the company for the new model. Show details

A terrible phone – I did some research about a good value mid-range Android phone and found the A52. The reviews I saw on youtube and read on the web were positive - enough for me to purchase the phone outright. This was a horrible mistake. The phone itself is slow and un-responsive. The camera is HORRIBLE! By far the worst camera I have ever used on a phone. The… Read more

default camera app is horrendous and the quality of the camera itself is just plain horrible. The video quality is also very poor. I don't know what people are smoking when they say the camera is "Excellent"... It is not. Don't even get me started on the Zoom quality... This phone has like 5 lens but they all suck.

The call quality is terrible. My phone would drop in and out of LTE and sometimes I could not even take a call in my house - I would have to go outside to have phone call. My friends would call me and would mention that it wouldn't even ring.... but i would get multiple missed calls. Messages are delayed sometimes by a few hours!!! General reception is very poor.

All in all a waste of money. Do not buy this phone, look for anything else.

Very poor quality phone – One of the worst phones I have ever used. Screen constantly flashes while I am on a call. When I send a message, I find part of the previous message has duplicated in the new message screen. Phone was only repaired a week ago by Oppo (technicians) with new software added and is still faulty. Another hour long trip back to service centre to try again under warranty. Show details

My Oppo A52 is a confusing, faulty waste of money! – I bought the A52 Oppo model as an upgrade for my S1 Oppo. When I received a call or text on the S1, it rang and rang for ages - a bit annoying sometimes, but I didn't miss any. With the A52, I can't get it to do more than a single 'ding' for text reception, regardless of the 'tune' chosen. For the calls, the 'tune' is so very brief that I can… Read more

easily miss it if my kettle is on or TV are on... consequently lots of missed calls!!

It has other problems too. When I text someone and send it, that appears to be fine, until I open the phone again and find my exact message is repeated on the screen waiting to be sent and I have to use the delete icon to remove it before I can make a new message.

I only use a few basic essential apps. I don't use it for wifi/emails or youtube or other such things, preferring to use my computer. I admit the camera is good and battery lasts for a couple of days - great - but other complications have just driven me to resort to my previous S1 phone. A waste of precious money. I feel duped in the whole technology game. Won't be buying Oppo again in future.

It's pretty great actually! – OPPO knows life's hard so it puts screen protector on top of your screen and gives you a case because you need a case. OPPO is ready for when things get rough in life, and if you break this, you need to reconsider your life choices. Also, great cameras, focus, zoom, night mode... If you're capable of working them. If you don't break it, it will probably last you for a while.  Show details

Absolutely flawless phone, great bargain! Must buy! – I bought this phone back in December of 2020 for about $219 when my other phone (worth $500) broke. I must say, it's even better than the phone I had before which I bought for more! It's easy to navigate through all the settings, the simple terms make it easier to understand which is great for non-techy people. The phone is really easy for the… Read more

owner to get into, and hard for anyone else (fingerprint on the power button, face recognition and a pin). The battery life s amazing, It can last anywhere from 6-8 hours (Depends on what you're doing with it) and it also lasts a long time if the phone is idle (it lasts a whole day going down 15 percent on idle) The camera is very good if your a person who just wants it to capture everyday photos and videos. The phone also has qualities that are similar to a samsung phone. I'd definitely reccomend this phone to others, especially for your kids who need a phone, this is perfect for them!

Amazing phone! – For around $250, you get the phone that is far better than iPhone. All apps work flawlessly, camera(s) are great, and the battery lasts forever! The screen is big and responsive, it is a NFC phone, so you can use it for contactless payment, it takes two SIM cards, memory card, got stereo speakers with great sound... No issues whatsoever. Show details

The Buy of 2020 – I was very hesitant to change from the s9 to this brand but it was worth the change. I was looking for a phone with long battery life, good camera , easy to use, responsive with a good speaker. This phone has it all. Set up was easy but I recommend doing the OS update to Android 10 and then a factory reset after this. I then found the phone… Read more

Good phone but durability questionable – Bought the A52 about 6 weeks ago and it was looking good. I like the price and the function but dropped it on a dirt path and the front glass shattered. I guess you get what you paid for. I had dropped my old Samsung Note 5 on similar ground with no ill effect. Given the repair cost I guess I'll be looking for a different brand when the display finally gives up Show details

Excellent phone at a reasonable price – An excellent phone with good storage, great speed, awesome cameras, great battery backup, fast charge and allows tap n pay on the phone. MY NEW OPPO A52 – After using my old mobile for so many years it is a pleasure to upgrade to my new OPPO A52. The camera is so clear and easy to operate. My main use is for calling family and Friends and the clearness of speech is perfect. I do not use all the apps but those that I do use work well. Show details

Great phone at great price! – I hesitantly switched from my Motorola phones to another android: Oppo. I did my homework, and read some great reviews. Well, after buying it, and now using it, I would recommend this phone. It does all I want, and has NTC, which I like to have to save me carrying my cards around. Quick charging battery, large screen, but not too large, I love this new phone. For $249, well worth it! Show details

A $291 bargain - exceptional features for the price – Finally got mum out of the dark ages. The cost of maintaining a land-line (yes they still exist) as compared to Amaysim $10 per month unlimited local calls (still with them after 8 years ) it's a no brainer. If you look down my list reviews, you will see I am a fan of Oppo phones and for good reasons. Build quality, value, reliability and… Read more

evolution of its Colour OS from the start of the clunkie Version 2.1 of my first Oppo R7 Plus ( my son's R7S he is still running with) to my latest and greatest Find X2 Pro with Color OS 7.1 in their time, very feature rich compared to Base Android. 5 years of trouble free usage with all our Oppo phones. Set the phone up with - Settings > Accessability - so text and Icons are large ( My mum is 92 and eyesight is not too flash but she is still driving ), Face ID was the easiest for her to live with and very easy to set up. Took her a week to get a handle on things but she's now up and running with it. I will soon set Emergency SOS in the phone - enter up to 3 phone numbers, message and location data will be sent to all numbers, activated via 5 power button presses. All the - on and off screen gestures - are still there, plus many personalisations. New and simplified - Long Screen Shot - is great. Just need to spend the time wading though the many options available in Settings. Go down to my R11S Plus review for extra Settings features still used. A great FHD+, Neo LCD high resolution screen, massive 5000 mAh battery (will last mum up to 3 days or more) very fast charging via USB C port, NFC, SD 665, 4G, 4Gb/64Gb, 4 camera setup with Stability Control but Digital zone only, but remember, $291 from Jb HiFi, this is still a budget phone but loaded with higher class features.

Why pay more? At this price, 5 stars – Bought this model phone from Officeworks yesterday after reading some positive reviews. Very impressed with this phone so far. At $299, everything you need is in the box, including a pre-applied screen protector and protective case all there waiting to be used. It has a nice resolution screen with only a small hole for the selfie camera. There… Read more

are 3 ways available to unlock the phone: face unlock, finger print scan (on the side on/off button) or pin code. The camera is good enough for the price point. Good clean results with a night mode function. The selfie camera also gives good results and thankfully no noticeable camera lag.

The battery at 5000mah would make an iPhone weep (lol) so no issues there and will easily see up to almost two days use.

The phone looks great too especially with the white/green variable colour version I bought. It also allows for 2 SIM cards to be used plus an additional micro sd memory card. Many phones ask that you pick from either two SIM cards or one sim and a memory card but Oppo have not cut any corners in this regard.

Don’t buy this phone if you’re a power user or want to play intense games that require lots of grunt. Do buy this if you’re a normal user of social media, emails, camera use and of course normal phone use and texting.

Value, features – This phone is selling for $300. The USB charging port on my nokia died, I was left with a brick and needed a cheap phone to use on my commute to listen to music, watch YouTube/Netflix and browse the web. With a budget around $400 I found this at $100 less was on par with a Moto g8+ or nokia 6.2 but offered a bigger battery than either. Anything… Read more

close branded Samsung was more than double as was even the least costly pixel. My favourite things about the phone are the crisp, bright display, the big 5000mAh battery, the stereo speakers and the protective case with pre installed screen protector. Would prefer a metal or glass body AMOLED and maybe a smaller screen, (it's so tall I'm always scared it will fall out of my short pocket) and maybe a faster processor, though it's certainly fast enough for my needs already. BUT to get these features you are paying considerably more. Four lenses looks fancy and the camera seems good enough but this is not something I use much anyway. The four lenses combined with the extreme screen to body ratio makes the phone look much pricier than it really is and even though the case is plastic it's looks great when it catches the light. I was mildly apprehensive about moving from an Android one to an oppo skin, a week later I can tell you I barely notice it. Very happy with this phone and so far no nasty surprises.

Outstanding value – Great phone for the money. Love the long life battery, fast processing, excellent camera and the NFC ( can us this to make mobile payments without carrying your credit card). Official OPPO specs say it doesn't include NFC but it does. Face recognition to unlock the phone is very reliable and works quickly. Best phone I have ever owned Show details
