Great phone, has outlasted almost every other phone I've had – This phone is solid, can handle a fall, the camera is very good and it is nice and fast and reliable. It kind of mimics the iPhone interface, not sure that is necessary being an Android phone, but it is easy to use all the same. It has had its share of battery and charging issues and can sometimes lag but definitely recommend it anyways as being robuts and sturdy it outlived most of the big name brands that would shatter at the slightest touch. Show details

Okay for a budget phone – Camera quality is quite poor except when outside on a decently lit day, colours are not accurate (red lipstick turns brown etc) and not sure if the camera has a beauty feature I can't turn off that blurs the quality or it's just that poor, either way still annoying. you want accuracy, my iPhone 5 camera I bought around 2014 was better than this even though the MP on this is much higher.

Does basic calling and texting functions alright. Keyboard glitches sometimes though, and audio on calling etc is the worst I've seen on a phone, kind of sounds like someone is in an enclosed small room when you hear them, and people always have severe trouble hearing me when they're on speaker (This didn't happen with my previous phones).

I love dark brightness as it let's me use my phone in the dark comfortably. But conversely, it's brightness range on the other end of the scale is so poor I usually can't see my phone when outdoors in the sun, in the shade it's still hard to see.

Phone design is light, thin and rose gold backing is gorgeous!looks and feels expensive for a cheap phone I got for under $300

This phone has all the bells and whistles and runs as smoothly as any Samsung or Iphone. This has been a great phone so far and it came with gorilla class protector and a gel case. I purchased a Huawei Y5II about 12 months ago and they are chalk and cheese. If i had, had enough money for 2, I would have purchased a second device.

This is a great device, it had the latest Android OS. It comes with good size memory and memory expansion. It has a very good camera and a crystal clear screen with great resolution. This is a more than ample phone for her needs at a great price.

My very first 'smart' phone. Will come in very handy when travelling – Not a big mobile user at all and quite happy with my current basic 'talk only' phone. for money, has loads of great features (which will probably never use) and a really good spare camera.

BAD STUFF: Start up documentation is woeful - doesn't even tell you where the on/off button is or even how to insert a SIM card. There is a downloadable manual - 359 pages worth !

Don't try taking the case off to insert cards - you will break the phone. Instead you have to use this tiny sewing-needle thing to eject a small tray. Only then can you insert SD and SIM cards. The camera is very good but you cannot transfer any images to a PC unless you have set the phone up to store images to SD card. Oppo really needs to update its software drivers.

WEIRD STUFF: What's the difference between 'pictures' and 'photos' when you look in files? Why the different names for the same thing?

Oppo phone and brightness – Have had this phone two years and found it to be reliable with apps running well. The power saving mode (under settings - battery) needs to be switched off (and brightness turned up) to easily read screen in bright sunlight. Worth checking if the screen appears dim. Show details

Failure to hold Corina apo – After 2 calls to helpline phone still won't hold onto corona app. Battery saver keeps coming on to turn app off. Going back to a Samsung more reliable this phone isn't keeping me safe Show details

Terrible Product, terrible service – Bought an Oppo A73. After 3 months started having serious problems. They then wanted me to post them the phone at a time when I am quarantined, thereby living without a phone, until they looked over it and sent it back. Oh, and all of this is well within the warranty period. I've never had a product that has performed so poorly, and where the after purchase service has been so bad.

Price Point Perfect – This phone has been the best for what I use it for that I havent bothered updating to a newer model in nearly 4 years. For the price I paid back in 2018 it has been resilient, robust, never let me down or died on me, stored what i wanted, taken good quailty pics for social media. worst customer service – Had issues with the battery life, sent in for repair, 5 days without a phone and its still not working, have to send it in again. Do yourself and don't deal with this budget, tight business. I regret buying this phone. At least paying the extra. Waste of money, you'll get no life out of this phone. Show details

Cheap and works great – The apps work very well, i use my phone to make money online most of the time and this phone keeps up to date with all my apps and doesnt lag, im very happy with the camera and the brightness of the phone. Its a really good phone for a cheap price. Show details

cheap decent phone – decent good android phone. a little slow and display not premium. would recommend for cheap but workable phone with ok functioning. bought from woolworths with optus deal. would suggest latest updates for usability.

Love it!! Just like an iPhone at a fraction of the cost! – Great phone, I couldn't afford to replace my iPhone so opted for this little Android. Best phone ever! – I can't say enough good things about this phone. The battery life is astronomical. It just continues to last hour after hour without going flat. The Oppo a73 is a good price, easy to use all ages young & the elderly, has excellent camera & video – I just bought Oppo A73 Rose Gold colour & it comes with a clear rubber cover, instructions, ear piece, re charged etc. It was easy to put my old sim card, my Vodafone sim card & my new Oppo phone was up & running, I love the finger print & photo recognition & its got a very good key board nice & big, you can change & make letters bigger if needed.. its a very easy simple phone & good price, I love my Oppo :) Show details

Phone constantly dropping out – Phone constantly dropping out, it sounds as though you are talking underwater, then takes 5 minutes to re dial the person to whom the phone crashed upon. Disappointed – The call volume is low. Hard to hear person on other end. Can only take calls in quiet room with no other background noise around otherwise you struggle to hear. Screen brightness is also crap. Have to focus really hard. Show details
