It's ok for value but my screen came off – Phone was ok to use, I am using it for 2 years and 5 months. I use it only for making calls, texting and few other apps. Works great for the price I paid. Screen for the phone has come off. Contacted Oppo but they said it's out of warranty now. Is it just mine or other users are also facing same problem. Show details

HORRIBLE PHONE – Constantly missing calls because phone goes into silent mode by itself. Bump the phone even lightly, and it will start some random app. In the middle of a call you lose all ability to terminate the call and if you open another app during call it disconnects. TYPICAL CHINESE RUBBISH

I have the strangest problem with this phone??? – I have had Oppo A9 since Christmas and have the strangest problem. Whenever i send any message, be it messenger, texting, or what's app , i.e. Whenever my fingers touch the keyboards, the message crashes and I am taken back to the homepage of my phone. The message doesn't delete so I am able to continue but sometimes it can crash 6 times in a… Read more

matter of every second word I type!! Very annoying to have ot keep going back and forth. What is creepy is it only happens to me, everybody else who types on my phone does not have this problem. Friends have watched me type incase I am doing something wrong. Oppo has tried everything to help me fix the problem over the phone to no avail so they decided the phone was faulty and i was given a new phone by JBHIFI , who was also fantastic. BUT, the same problem is happening again and when I ring OPPO they still try to troubleshoot again. I can't seem to get them to understand that if it is only happening to me, then it can't be the phone but my fingers. I know this sounds crazy but I am putting this out there in case someone else is experiencing the same thing. Personally, i just want my money back, i just cannot use this phone

Battery life isn't that great – I replaced my Samsung S7 and Im not that impressed. Battery goes flat within 24 hours. It uses a different charger than my Samsung so I had to buy extras. Camera is comparable but Internet pages constantly refresh when you are in the middle of reading them and the space bar is right above the minimise button so beware. It's a good price but I'd stick with Samsung Show details

Great price, Great device – I've had this oppo since August (2020) and it's been an excellent t phone to date. My only complaints are there are limited fonts in the theme store to choose from and so far even downloading a 3rd party font app doesn't work as it doesn't show up in the settings so it can be changed. Have also been unsuccessful in changing the lock screen clock… Read more

and Australia seems to be rather slow with the update to Android 10. But aside from those menial complaints, it's a well priced device, long battery life, speedy, heaps of space, 128GB, 6.5" screen & looks great. I'm not very technical so if you are you'll do better google all the specs.

Good – I bought the a9 to replace another Oppo about 3 years old just as an upgrade. It's still similar, just has bigger screen and far better camera, more storage etc. The screen would be good for movies but I don't watch them so it's just bulkier and harder to hold and type with because my thumb has to stretch further while holding a large phone. It's… Read more

just getting used to something new though and the extra size is really growing on me

I was disappointed with the calendar not being able to sync no matter what I tried so had to enter everything again manually but impressed by the way everything else came across in just 15 minutes in setup mode. I can't say if the calendar is the phone's fault or just how it goes with any phone but just an observation.

All in all I think it's a great phone for the small outlay, really good value!

The phone is perfect for my needs – The phone arrived with a screen protector installed and a cover terrific noting else to spend. The camera takes good quality pictures I no longer use the SLR on holidays. There are applications on the phone that not everyone would like to use, but is very easy to remove what you do not need. For day to day use as a phone and for messages and look… Read more

at news the battery life is good about 4 days before it needs charging. I have my credit card on the phone and have not experienced any problems using the phone for payments. The phone can not charge wireless but that is not important to me. Using the original charger the phone charges fast - full charge in about 2 hours. I have to mention the company Tecobuy for the excellent service and incredibly fast delivery, much appreciated.

Junk - for a $100 more you can a get a decent phone – This is the worst smart phone in this rage I have ever used. A $39 Alcatel I got from the post office prior to works better than this phone.. I wish I get my money back. I will have to donate it to people in Africa., what a waste of money. I have had a samsung J7 pro for 3 years and it was a perfect phone for the price. I will stick to samsung and spend more to get quality. Show details

Great bang for buck – For the price, you get a lot of phone. Spec wise, it's fine for the average user. The best thing is the battery, lasts all day with heavy use no problem. One thing I don't like is that the power button is slightly raised on the side and has sharp edges. When you slide your hand up and down the phone (which you do a lot) you end up with quite a sore index finger from brushing over the button. Show details

This device is amazing – The camera quality is perfect, its very clear but the front camera is a bit laggy but it's still good. The phone has a useful dual sim, inside is a powerful, popular snapdragon 600. This phone runs nice and smoothly, the screen is not too bright and not too low on the brightness This is the best part the box includes a case and screen protector… Read more

inside so you don't need to buy it separately, and the speaker is nice and loud with mono audio, I am very satisfied with this phone.
