Absolute dream phone
Absolutely loved this phone had it since it came out 2019, and ran my whole life off it. I'd dropped it a gazillion times before the last fatal fall finally broke it but honestly it was thrown across the house with the cover and screen protector on but still it didn't break. Was always super fast responsive and such and easy navigational phone. I dunno how im guna live without it actual cried when it died.

Purchased in 2019, my oppo has been an extremely reliable and durable phone. Still in excellent overall condition. Camera is great, performance is great, still running fast and smooth. For a budget friendly phone you get heaps of flagship level features!
Note:
After 3 and a half years of ownership, the phone has finally showed a flaw. Occasionally, the screen freezes while in use. I switch the phone off and on again quickly and then works fine again for a while. Been like this for a few months now.
Inexpensive. Has all the features of most current phones.
I've had mine for 3 years. It has all the features needed or you can download. It's never let me down. Very reasonably priced. Takes a great photo/video. I'm very happy with mine.

I've had my phone since 2019 and I absolutely love it. The aurora purple is gorgeous. The screen is strong. I've dropped it so many times and never needed to repair. Photos are great. Video and sound quality is excellent. I use my phone for calls, messaging and internet. I don't game but my kids have and it's fine. 3 years later the battery still lasts for 2 days and nothing has slowed down. I'll be buying another one and giving mine to my daughter. Highly recommend.

Excellent
My wife and I both bought these new in January 2020 and they have been excellent phone. Seem to work flawlessly. We get regular updates. And the battery life is still excellent.
Show detailsBrilliant phone for the price
This phone is a beast. The durability is incredible - I have dropped it from 7ft multiple times in the original case that came with it and have had no screen cracks. Battery life is superb - I've used the phone pretty heavily for almost 3 years and still have 30% battery life at the end of the day. When needed, I have made the battery last up to 3 days. Applications run smoothly. It's just a great functional and reliable phone.
The only downside of the phone is its camera, which honestly isn't too bad.
I recently got a used galaxy note 9 but I'm going to be switching back to the Oppo for its superior durability and battery life.
10/10
Great Phone for its price!
This phones a great value for money. Given its specs 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage with dual LTE Sim and great front & back cameras, awesome screen quality, dual speakers, battery lasts easily more than a day, endless list, nothing ever went wrong, and it's a very reliable model. Also the ColorOS 11 with Android 11 update makes it feel like any other latest phone in the market. Worth the buy!

Wow just wow I can't believe just how amazing this phone is compared to the big brand phones I have had in the past. Not only is the screen quality amazing it is super fast with my numerous apps that I have. And the quality of photos is just as amazing.
Show detailsThe first ever phone that was worst than the previous one!
Firstly, it really wants to be an iPhone, with it's ColorOS system, which I found to be extremely annoying. Then there's the ringer which keeps going to silent because you pick the phone and gently press the volume up and camera buttons simultaneously. The accessibility settings which keep changing for no reason? I would not accept a gift of an oppo phone!

I had to replace the phone twice as the wifi kept on dropping off. Oppo refused to take ownership.
Wifi was intermittent so replaced phone twice at Campbelltown store
Oppo advised to send phone in for repair which is not practical as I would be without a phone for applied 2 week's.
The purchase was no more than a month old.

Had this phone for 19 months now and it's still just as snappy as when I first purchased it. Never heard of the brand before coming from previous iPhone and Samsung Galaxy generations.
The camera takes very nice photos and the colors are better than my previous phones. I'm also able to do some occasional reading on the phone due to the large screen. The battery life is great as I'm able to stream videos from it for prolonged periods of time.
This is the best value phone I've bought and will definitely be looking at Oppo for my next phone purchase.
Show detailsI have been loyal to Oppo for years now, but this phone will be what sends me back to Samsung!
While the phone is great for the price, there's a few issues I have had over the last year of owning it.
Such as: the auto dimmer on the screen is absolutely ridiculous! It literally flicks between light and dark fifteen to twenty times in a matter of sixty seconds! It is by far the WORST and dumbest setting I've ever come across.
Also, the camera quality is great outside but shocking indoors. No matter the setting, no matter if flash is on, the photos are pathetic.
If you're not after a quality phone, just something to get the job done, then this phone is for you. If you want quality pictures inside and also don't want the frustration of having to manually adjust your screen brightness, then go back to samsung or iphone.

Incredible Value
I have had this phone for nearly a year now and I have to say that there is nothing possible to complain about!
The camera takes amazing day and night photos, supports 4k HDR photos and great zoom. The AI beautifier is ok I guess.
The microphone is also amazing and very clear when calling.
The speakers are also beyond amazing for a phone and the audio sounds very realistic with good bass.
The batter life will easily last me a whole day browsing reddit but it runs out within 5 hours of YouTube at medium volume. The inclusion of a smart charger makes the lack luster battery life completely irrelevant as it will be fully charged in thirty minutes.
It does it’s job
I get phones for emergencies mostly, but I also use them nowadays for photos, this one unfortunately isn’t very good in the camera department, my bad I didn’t check the reviews properly. Night photos are a mixed bag, tried to take photos of Christmas houses, the photos look like crap.
Day photos are good, selfie camera makes my skin flawless which is cool and it’s also a very good camera. I can’t say the main camera is necessarily better than my IPad camera and I kind of regret buying it for $500.
However I love the back colouring and I lov
... Read moree how slippery and durable it is. It’s built to last that’s for sure, the screen is very strong and still after all this time doesn’t have a single crack or deep scratch on it, unlike my IPad. Will definitely research better in the future though, but for now I expect it to last me at least another 6 years honestly.Good for the Price
I’ve had mine for a bit over a year and bought it primarily because of the dual sim, as I was heading to Europe and wanted to use a local sim but still be able to receive calls from home. It did the things I wanted it to do and was reliable. The camera is ok outside, but seems to be less effective now. More recently there have been connectivity problems with my car, both with Bluetooth and Android Play. Neither work now after being unreliable for months. There are also cracks on the screen. I also found that it is easy inadvertently switch off the ringer. Despite this, for its main uses it’s good value.

I have had little issues with the Oppo Reno z but Saturday night I received a text to log back in for the new changes and in doing that everything appeared normal apart from my Contacts and Messages now unable to view. When you press the app it will switch on then off, I can quickly see everything is still there but doesn't hold if someone tries to call it's the same the screen flashes and if you're quick you can answer. Does anyone know how to fix this, please..
Good morning how does this phone compare to the S9? Does it take a Nano Sim? thank you
I didn’t have to get a special sim. It takes the regular standard sim. It also will take a second sim, which is ideal when travelling. I don’t know anything about the S9.
I have an S9 currently and am planning to get a Reno Z. S9 is a good phone, has waterproof, wireless charging and stunning screen. However, Reno Z has larger storage space (8GB/128GB), bigger screen and battery. And yes, it takes dual nano sim cards
Hey I have recently installed a new software update at the beginning of August 2020. Unfortunately the phone doesn't seem to pick up the correct time zone for my location. Is this a common issue and how can I get back to the previous version of the software? Thanks
