Not great, unfortunately – I have had iphones and a range of Android based devices over the years. Unfortunately, the OPPO Reno 10 5g is the glitchiest phone I've ever had. The worst aspect is the way that photos that you take just disappear from the Gallery and cannot be recovered. The camera is super unresponsive with or without an external SD, and recording video is… Read more

almost impossible in my case. No software update has ever improved it. Battery is OK, and fast charging is good, but the camera situation makes it unusable. I find the phone fairly slow and laggy. The hotspot often blocks me from using Zoom and other necessary apps, and switching audio from Bluetooth to speaker is a pain. Unfortunately, this means it'll be back to one of the Samsung A series instead next time, and will be staying away from OPPO phones.

Reno 10 5G Another Midrange Winner from Oppo – Purchased as a backup to my Oppo Find X2 Pro which is now over 3 years old but still functioning brilliantly. The day could come when one day it will not wake up and I could lose cherished photos and videos of family events and friends. Don't like the Cloud solution but the Oppo Reno 10 5G solved the problem. As a mid-range phone it is full of… Read more

latest tech, great Cameras and useful features. Easy setup copying all data from my Find X2 Pro (both running Color OS 13.1 on Android 13) via Bluetooth.(couldn't find the USB 2 to USB 2 cable I knew I had somewhere) Just put them side by side and hit Transfer. Took a couple of hours but couldn't be easier. A big 5000 mAh battery, easily lasts 2 days, with a 67 watt charger to 100% Charge in just over 45 minutes, so a 60% top up charge takes only 15 minutes. Fantastically fast. 3 OS Upgrades and 4 year Security Updates expected as was the case with my Find X2 Pro. Photos, videos and editing functions are typically to Oppo high standard. 8/256Gb system with expandable memory slot. Front curved quality 1080+ Amoled Screen and rear glass body (not plastic) is all style but - NAUGHTY OPPO - not to include a TPU Protective Case but a Screen Protector Film is applied. Stereo Speakers, clear sound and loud enough. The IR Remote app is wirth the price of the phone alone. Have already replaced 3 remote controls that are not functioning correctly and don't need to be repurchased. The Home Theatre System is next with the TV, DVD player and AV Receiver as seperate components, with all Remotes needing fixes or replacement soon Nearly every appliance know to man that comes with a remote control hand piece is listed. Set up is surprisingly simple. All the usual ON and OFF screen gestures, functionality are there and with the usual Oppo outstanding build quality. A very good around mid range phone in a very competitive market segment. Good - Found the Edge Lighting Notifications but does not work and the Always on Display is good.

I downgraded phone to 3 Stars. Open screen gives me pictures I don't ask for but can't delete them. Also Google Discovery news Feed the same. Can clear Feeds but can't remove screen like I did on my Find X2 Pro. I like my open screen to show only Always on Display and Finger Print Sensor. If I want to add a pic of my dog or holiday snap in its place, I can't. Grrrr.
