AVOID IF YOU LIKE YOUR CAR – AVOID IF YOU LIKE YOUR CAR. I had a $650 tint job done here last week. They left some contamination over my car that won't wash or wipe off. Upon calling, i was told to come back so they can tell ME how to get it off. He knew what i was referring to when asked "are they white spots" but offered no further advice other than "we have 13 cameras, as though that's somehow a solution. Basically, my car was defaced and i was told to clean it myself.

So, go here if you want your car to come out worse than it went in. Also don't expect any proactive help when your job goes wrong. Be prepared to pay a premium for a sub par service, and then be told how to maybe fix it yourself.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARS TO SOLAR STYLE!!! – WARNING!!! *** -- DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARS TO SOLAR STYLE!!! They are fake, unprofessional and DECEITFUL. My brandnew yellow car was ruined by them! There might be other customers who had similar experiences as us, but chose to swallow the bitter, moved on without saying anything about Solar Style's poor service. I feel that I HAVE to share my experience with everyone, so you know how horrible it was for us. Then make your own judgement and decision as whether you would like to take the risk on your own car.

We had a horrible and very disappointing experience with them on our paint protection! They failed to provide a quality product and service. And only 'super nice' to us when they wanted our bisiness and money. As soon as there was an issue to be rectified, they were incapable of handling it professionally, and lied to our faces.

The owner and technician were making up stories to get out the responsibilities, but ironically their stories were contradicting to each other.

The receptionist appeared to be very fake. She was so nice and helpful when taking our service and money. When issue occured, she turned rude, nasty and arrogant.

They are unreliable and unprofessional. In the result of their unprofessional and deceitful conduct, we have escalated this matter with Office of Fair Trading. And referring it to QCAT for litigation and compensation on damages.

The whole experience is extremely disappointing. The fact that we have to take this to court says everything about them!

We would not recommend their service to anyone! And will warn our friends and family -- STAY AWAY from Solar Style!!!

Just perfection! – What an experience this was, from start to finish. I drove my brand new car straight to the team at Solar Style to leave it overnight so they could work their magic. Very professional, giving me peace of mind my new car is in great hands, and the finish of the Opti-Coat paint protection is simply incredible. I'm glad I didn't get sucked in to the dealership package as it is nowhere near as amazing as this. Leave your paint protection and tint to the professionals at Solar Style. Talk to Emily and Josh, and they will look after you and your pride and joy.

If you live in Queensland - your car NEEDS Opti-Coat! – This is the third new car in our house to have Solar Style tinting and Opti-Coat protecting it from both heat and UV damage and from surface and clear coat scratches. I have a toddler and chose to go one shade darker at the back with my latest car to provide him more protection and it looks GREAT. Best of all, not once has there been a 'bubble', 'pucker', scratch or piece of peeling film - ever! Could not survive the 30+ Brisbane summers without this product! We also own cats and park near building sites so having Opti-Coat gives the security of knowing your paint underneath isn't being damaged.

Love the results! – I recently purchased a new BMW, and wanting to keep the car in the very best condition I was curious as to the benefits of Opti-Coat. After stopping by and talking to Addison, Joel and the guys there I am very glad I did. I dropped my car in a few days after taking delivery from the dealership and got pretty much their whole range of services - External body, glass, wheels and then the full interior. It took them the whole day to do as it's a very labour-intensive process, and then the coating has to be baked on apparently.

I was very pleased with their professionalism and service. They even gave me a free Uber to get to work and back afterwards!

I wanted to wait a while before reviewing to be able to talk about the more long term effectiveness. It's now been a month and I've cleaned the car for the first time since owning it. In that time it got very dirty, and I'm pleased to say it was super easy to wash the car to a shine that's as good, if not better than the day I picked it up from the dealer.

I love the look of light coloured leather but with two children I was very concerned that it would quickly deteriorate! After a month of getting in and out of the driver's seat I was alarmed to see a build up of dark marks on the outer cushion, but after a quick wipe with cleaner these disappeared completely!

I'm very happy with the protective nature of Opti-Coat so far, and I'm hoping that I don't have cause to really notice it in future other than the ease of washing. I guess it's much like insurance - you get it with the hope that you never have to use it or worry about its effectiveness. I can definitely recommend Opti-Coat to anyone looking to preserve the shine and brand-new feeling of their car.
