Oricom UHF2100 / UHF2180

Great little unit – Have had mine for about 3 years. Primarily used by my kids now ( 6 and 3 yr old) still holds great charge, has great range and is very durable. Toys last 5 seconds with my kids but these units are solid and work as good today as the day I bought them. I would assume these would be a popular choice for businesses such as construction, security etc ... as they are compact with clear sound and easy to use. Very disappointed – Bought this set of walkie talkies for hunting, used twice a year, had a problem with one unit staying on receive and hissing, contacted Oricom help line on 1300889785 and spoke to an operator about the problem, was asked to do a factory reset which I did, no joy, asked if there was a local repairer and was told not worth it, throw it in the bin &… Read more

buy new ones. Was not impressed with that response. Went out bush last week (10/7/2018) with remaining unit, after 2days when PTT was pressed unit shut off. As i was told to do both units are now in the bin. Very disappointed in the product. Will not buy ORICOM again & will let members of my hunting & archery clubs know my experiences with ORICOM. Have since bought different make of handheld units.

Great little handheld – Great little handheld unit for those looking for a cheap yet effective 40 channel UHF. I primarily use mine for 4WDing and camping and does the job. Strong and sturdy. Tuff, dependale, value for $$ – Got these in a pair that came with a charger, rechargable batties and power cable. Features are all there, they have great range and awesome battery life. I have dropped, stood on and generally mistreated these things and they just keep on keeping on. Only issue I have is the volume could turn up louder. Great hand helds. Price and durability Volume could be louder
