Ottocast have great products! – Reading all the reviews made just have to make one too. We love our ottocasts. People mostly review only when they have a negative experience. We have three cars in the family using ottocast products since 2022! Several friends have some too. Some people just don’t read what they’re buying or checking if the products are compatible with their car!… Read more ·  1

Others just aren’t tech savvy enough to understand how to set it up or troubleshoot, update it etc. For people with Mitsubishis. It’s written all over, where ever you buy it, that Mitsubishis need a Y cable! The Mitsubishi cars do not output enough USB power to run these types of products. The after sales service from ottocast Australia has been awesome, and if you’re still having issues after trying all the tech advice, they will refund you! No restocking fee. We found the A2AIR pro did not work with our VW, while the U2X does, and very well, love it.

Now for the fiddly bits - don't update the firmware unless it doesn't work for you - The manual said this and I have not updated the firmware. Some times it may not connect - just unplug the device from the USB port for a few seconds and plug back in - within 45 seconds it reconnects fine. Normally it will auto reconnect on start within 30 seconds, so be patient. final word of advice, this uses the phone's wireless and USB connections to work, so battery drain is higher than normal. I plug the phone into the secondary USB port to keep it on charge while driving longer distances. This is fine for the result of having Android Auto. Support is great and they will confirm your phone and car model is supported before purchased, if it doesn't work - they offer money back guarantee.
