Broken promise after broken promise – Do yourself a favour and steer clear of these guys. They make promises they cannot keep. Do not waste your time or money, on something that may look appealing, however if you do happen to receive any product, the quality is substandard. They also change company name on a regular basis, so be aware.

STAY AWAY – I have paid for a product I still don’t have. Alexander has stopped answering my calls and emails. I have lodged a claim through PayPal. WORST BUSINESS EVER! DO NOT USE!

drilled for easy assembly.No pre drilled pieces, wrong fronts, drawers would not fit together as we were given wrong parts.Next came the cupboard doors once again wrong hinges. Terrible company keep away at all costs. I wish I had spent more and gone to a reputable company

Good quality product – I am happy with the deal I recently got from Outdoor Kitchen Works. I wanted a good quality outdoor custom made kitchen and they delivered. These guys know what they are doing. Speaking the service team they helped me get exactly what I was looking for.

using it before daylight savings ended and the weather turned colder. After much chasing up over the phone with both the manager (who was in China) and his mother (who was handling things locally in Melbourne whilst her son was away) we finally had the kitchen delivered...in bits...and incomplete, with vital parts missing. We had specified that we wanted the outdoor kitchen fully assembled but in the invoice they put this in as "pre-assembled"...their definition of pre-assembled meant that the outdoor kitchen came in parts, each cabinet was assembled but the whole kitchen was not put together - the manager's mother came with each cabinet, each section of the stone bench top, the sink, the tap, the drawer sliders, every other part loaded up in her 4WD and then asked my husband and myself to help her unload it all and left all the parts in our garage, expecting us to transfer all the pieces to our alfresco area and put the outdoor kitchen together ourselves. She kept insisting that if we wanted it to be fully assembled onsite that would be an extra $400 cost. Putting the issue of pre-assembly vs fully assembled aside, she didn't even have all the parts of the kitchen with her - she was missing one cabinet and the back panel which we had specifically requested as our outdoor kitchen was to be an island, not up against a wall. She promised to deliver the extra parts the next day but she did not. Then the chasing up began again...I called and messaged her, messaged her son in China, but every time she promised to deliver the parts, she did not show up, didn't even call or message to say she couldn't come. 10 days later I let both her and her son know that if she did not deliver the missing parts by the end of the week, we would be lodging a transaction dispute with our bank to process a refund. I did not receive a reply from either of them, let alone the missing parts we were waiting for, so we went ahead and lodged the dispute with our bank. They processed the dispute and told us that they would be giving the retailer 45 days to respond before closing the case. The bank refunded us our funds and after 45 days they closed the case, so thankfully we were not out of pocket. It was only after the 45 days that I actually heard anything back from Outdoor Kitchen Works when the mum sent me messages accusing me of fraud. I simply told her the bank has dealt with the dispute and she had to come and remove the outdoor kitchen parts from our garage or we would be getting rid of them ourselves (they had been sitting there taking up all our garage space for 2 months). After setting times to come and not showing up on 2 more occasions, I insisted that I was giving her one last chance and if she didn't show up again, we would get someone else to take it away, she finally came to take the stupid thing away. Remembering how she had come on her own to deliver the kitchen, I had given her prior notice in my messages warning her to make sure she had enough people to load the items into her vehicle, specifying that there would not be anyone to help her as my husband was recovering from surgery. Despite this she still came on her own and after my husband refused to help her (to prevent re-injuring his spine after spinal surgery) she went to ask some builders across the road working on a construction site! After she'd left she realised she had left parts behind so she messaged me and had the nerve to say to me "thank your husband for his human behaviour to ask me to load your kitchen in the ute myself". There are not enough words to describe how aggravating, frustrating and disappointing this whole process has been. Save yourself and stay away from Outdoor Kitchen Works!

are delays because [name removed] is stepping in to run things whilst her son in hospital. We don't know if she has a son, or he is in hospital, but we do know from the other Product Reviews that [name removed] ([name removed]) has been running the company since at least 2013; previously Outdoor Designer Living, Outdoor Living Design, Ever Last Kitchen. and Evoke Designer Living...and maybe more...

Oddly enough that despite all the delays, excuses and not yet receiving a product [name removed] asks us for a positive review.

The first package finally arrived at the Sydney Depot on 31st October in a shoddy looking pallet. They say the delay was because the first kitchen broke and they did us a favour by getting another one so we didn't have to claim through insurance!?!?!?!. Then further delays because the courier visited another 4-5 times and wouldn't collect the pallet because it wasn't sufficiently packaged.

On getting the kitchen home, it was apparent this wasn't an Ikea-type DIY kitchen nor the same kitchen as in the photo that we purchased. Many parts were missing, from the bbq burner itself, to cupboard doors, to fastenings, kickboard clips, and no instructions. The drawer panels were also not the requested colour.

We then waited another month until 27th November to get the missing parts. Only more drawers and the cupboard skins without frames show up still not the right colour. And here's the real pearler, they BLACKMAIL you by not sending you the bbq burner unless you put a good review up. Absolutely illegal!!! You will also see that there are no reviews enabled on Ebay or Gumtree apart from 4 businesses that [name removed] purchased items from.

It is now 17th December and despite trying to liaise to get the cupboard frames and bbq burner [name removed] has stopped responding since last week. We have over a hundred calls, texts and emails to-date. So like the other true reviewers we are initiating legal action. Luckily enough I have a commercial background dealing with contracts everyday and have kept every single piece of correspondence so won't be difficult to prove what a scam this is. These type of businesses need to be shut down and people blacklisted.

Absolutely appalling - keep your money and get a nice kitchen from Harvey Normal or a BBQ store.

Good quality kitchens – The kitchen is of good quality material, all parts were delivered and upon assembly i found some parts to be of wrong size but the issue was quickly rectified. Any components that were not 100% were gladly swapped over. I now have a great looking kitchen in my Alfresco.

Do your homework- Very stressful experience – I purchased an outdoor kitchen from Outdoor Kitchen Works quite a while ago and never received the entire kitchen. The parts I did receive were damaged. After months of ringing daily, I gave up. It was causing too much stress. Do your homework on this company. They have previously operated as Outdoor Designer Living. I wish I had seen these reviews before buying.

Terrible. As the others have said, Stay away at all costs – One of the worst experiences I ever had. As per the other reviews, there is nothing but lies and poor service. This is a recurring theme. When they did deliver (8 hours late), they did not provide all components but they made no mention of it.

I have been chasing for several weeks since but there are lies, false promises and many unanswered phone calls.

While [name removed] agreed to a partial refund, [name removed] and family in the Melbourne warehouse have used every lie to refuse. Any 5 star rating is most likely posted, falsely, by the business. They're also obsessed with trying to clean up product reviews so they can continue scamming people. Don't believe me, do a search for Outdoor Kitchen Living on this website. They change business names to keep the scam going. Shameless.

Only recommendation is to perform immediate chargebacks. Reach out if you need some assistance in recouping money from the business.

Amazing kitchens – I was really happy when I bought my kitchen from these guys. Everything was really smooth, I would recommended them to everyone!!

Delivered as promised – Kitchen arrived after some miscommunication about delivery and they resolved it , delivering after hours over the weekend . Product quality looked excellent, as described in photos and now can’t wait to try it out ! Thanks

Long time coming – UPDATE: After 5 months I have finally received 99% of the materials required for the kitchen. with this business. Goods left today is another lie they like to feed you. I have received my benchtops and cabinets but no draws, fixings, doors etc. Looks like I will be commencing legal actions against these people.

waiting, waiting, waiting – EDIT : OKW are now suggesting that my payment is under dispute (that is that I have not actually paid #eyeroll). I am now working with through the appropriate legal pathways to rectify this issue with them. I will update again when I have more information. Ordered from OKW in the first week of August 2018. I paid $4K in full up front. It’s now 11 weeks later and still nothing from these guys except excuses. order at your own risk

start with needed extra bits, benchtops are of GD quality but still no excuse for all the effort. I have now engaged a third party to sort the matter. If there was a negative star rating i would hit the highest one.

Cheap kitchens with an amazing look – These kitchens look so impressive. Everyone that comes over comments on how great they look. I would highly recommend these kitchens.

Quality product for price – Quality of outdoor kitchen was excellent considering the price. Initial delivery very quick. Some items were missing from the initial delivery (including instructions), however; the missing items were eventually delivered (albeit some items took a little longer to finally arrive). Elizabeth was very helpful, and manged to get things sorted out.

great kitchen at affordable price – these guys provide a quality product at a good price, the kitchen looks good, comes with quality stone, weather proof cabinet doors and little nice touch extras like hinges with lights, sink, etc. Looking forward to hosting great bbq's on this kitchen come summer!
