Not the best, not the worst – Well, it's better than using a jigsaw. I've used it to cut 3/4" pine reasonably easily and accurately, although I haven't used the fence yet. Good 1) It works. 2) Has micro-switches to prevent usage when the doors are open 3) Is light-weight so easy to mount to a benchtop 4) quick and easy to set up for hobby work Bad 1) There is no mitre gauge slot to do crosscut. 2) The table is not fixed very well onto the trunion, the part that connects it to the base, making it very unstable. 3) The table is very thin sheet metal and therefore bends under weight. It's quite difficult to get it aligned 90degrees to the blade. Even an aluminium table would have been better made of thicker cross section for rigidity. 4) Rubber feet don't screw onto the base properly 5) No light

It's quicker than a jigsaw and would be handy for small hobby work. But for something more versatile, (sawing lengths of timber, cutting thicker timber), I would buy something with a better table mounting design.
