Hi, I have electric Ozito chain saw 2200w and am not sure which oil to use? Can I use 4 stroke lawn mower oil??
My saw is not pumping enough oil
The drive chain sprocket continually slips off the drive holder on my Ozito ECS 355. What do I do to fix it please?
what is the size of the chain ?
14 inch from memory
It has a 14 inch, (356mm) blade
Is this chainsaw cordless.?
No....electrical...just run a lead
No. It’s 240 volts. I just ran an extension cord from the house.
Just pulled pump out and was gummed up with old oil. The pump and hoses were blocked. I suggest putting the best oil you can in.
You need to put standard chainsaw lubricating oil into it. It is thicker than engine oil and therefore clings to the chain providing the necessary lubrication. There is no reason why the hoses and pump should clog if the proper oil is used even if the saw has not been used for 12 months. Apart from this I have no other answer
I dont know what oil to used for Ozito ECS-355 Electric chainsaw
How much cutting time fully changed
Only 10 mins
All oil has leaked out, can anyone advise? Thanks
Can you adjust the oil pump doesn't get enough oil into the chain , I've used saws for years so have oil channel and outlet, all ok
I have purchased an Ozito ECS-355 electric chain saw. I assembled and tensioned the chain then filled the oil well. I noticed that the transparent oil level indicator remained showing empty even when the oil well was full to overflowing. Has any other user of this model experienced this an how was it remedied?
Ron
Hi Ron, haven't experienced this with ours as we've always been able to see the oil level on indicator. No problem with ours and we're on our 2nd Ozito now (first one died after excessive use). Definitely no regrets buying ours. Maybe return yours to place of purchase for a check as this sounds a bit odd. Good luck, Carolyn :)
Thanks Carolyn I returned it and Bunnings had no problem replacing it with new one. Trouble is same fault - oil over flowing full at the reservoir but no oil level on the viewer. Talked to Bunnings chain saw expert - his answer don't worry probably a fault in the model however if you have an oil problem you will get a new one within the 3 year warranty period.
Rats! I'm going to contact Ozito direct.
Have a great day!
Ron
