Avoid: Not Bunnings or Ozito's best effort – I own quite a few Ozito products, mostly power tools, and they've been fine for home use. But this blower-vac really isn't anywhere near a usable product. The problems with it are (from minor to more major): 1. If you use it as an outdoor vacuum, be prepared to get covered in dust. I use a respirator in any case, but this unit is more dusty… Read more

than most.

2. If you use it as a leaf vacuum, you'll get covered in dust AND you'll need to repair the small punctures in the bag that appear after every use. I use PVA glue. If left unrepaired, it will blow even more dust.

3. After around a month's use (and only around 2 hours total time) the vacuum setting on mine has stopped working, and I can now see a broken polystyrene cylinder rattling around inside the fan chamber. This appears to be the thing that selects blow and suck. It's now useless junk, and I'm still hunting for the receipt to return it.

This is a product design that's totally inadequate to the task for which it is intended. Don't waste your time on it.

Ok, one update to the review - it wasn't a polystyrene cylinder that was hosing up the works - it… Read more

Not recommended – Good for vacuuming small leaves assuming there are no twigs around. The bag grows holes after only a couple of uses. Expensive having to keep replacing such rubbish.

My first experience owning a blower/vac – The blower/vac does the job I need doing - small area with limited leaf and twigs. The collection bags, however, are very poor quality. Two to three uses and they develop holes. Now need a third bag! Last one cost $20 (approx.). Bags will end up costing me more than the machine. Does the job I need doing - small area with limited leaf and twigs.… Read more

The dust bags develop holes very quickly. Need to replace them to frequently. Expensive in the long term.

Sucks badly – I guess I could sum this product up as used once 2 years ago and never since. If you're going to use it, don't try the vacumm option unless you want to be covered in dust as the bag is porous and lets the dust out - all over you. For blowing, it's heavy and cumbersome to use plus you need to plug it in so not very mobile either. Yet another Bunnings dud.

efficient – have been using for over 5 years. Find it efficient for the amount of leaves that drop from 4 trees from Oct to end Jan. Not good for twigs. Only complaint - The bag doesnt last. mine is taped up am looking to get a replacement. Not an easy task. Does get blocked occasionally with twigs. Easily unblocked by taking bag off and removing offending… Read more

twigs.Use in conjunction with ozito blower, found combination works better as more blower power and easier to handle. mulches small and priced well the bag is useless. Gets holes in it far too easily.

Buyer beware – Taking it back. After using it briefly and pulling it apart it broke. The mulcher fins inside are plastic and already worn from twigs. Difficult to put together and pull apart. There are what look to be electric plugs on pieces of the tube that fit in to one another that look like they are power plugs but there is no power One is already broken… Read more

and bent. Expected better but I guess you get what you pay for. We are taking it back as we have only used it once today, the very day we bought it and it didnt last.

Plastic junk

Poor - Had Better – Used yesterday for the first time. Living in a leafy suburbs had quite a lot of leaves & small thin twigs to collect. Ozito got blocked on numerous occassions. After approx the fourth emptying of the bag I noticed that there were holes in the collection bag. Website advises that replacement bags are available , although handy should not be… Read more

required after first use. Previous blower vac i used over 50 times & if the motor had not gone would still be using but that bag is still intact !!!

It is deflinitely not made to last - think it is money out the window with the bag developing holes after first use - I did notice Ozito web site sells replacement bags - but would not spend the money - not made to last. This ones is made to cost you money - this one is gong back to the store.

Hmm for me had better – Well packaged, first usage kind of disappointed within a few mins the barrel was blocked in vacuum mode, found the outlet vent into the Bag was blocked, there are 6 fins in the exit vent I broke them off bingo no more blockage at that point. However a number of times small twigs mixed in with leave jammed the tube near the fan, quite difficult to… Read more

clear. I felt it also is lacking a handle near the outlet vent to get a better balance whilst vacuuming. Oh warning also the leaf bag is tied on to the outlet vent , after emptying the bag tied it back on again, but pulled the wrong cord to tighten and the bag tore like a piece of paper. Made my own Velcro strap, now works fine. Unfortunately not a good impression. inexpensive, more compact that others, fairly well balanced appeared to have less power than others tried, The bag attachment system not good, Value for money??
