Oztrail Deluxe Gazebo Questions & Answers
VerifiedWhy is my 3x6 gazebo always hard to put the roof up to click in?
make sure you don't lock the canopy down onto the velcroe tabs before you lock the legs into place. I normally flip up the corners of the canopy so that there is no tension on it until I have put all the legs up.
Why
But I've even tried with no canopy?
I always had trouble with the roof too!
Have you worked out the Answer to fix issue?
How are these gazebos anchored to stop them blowing away in a strong wind?
You are mean’t to purchase their sand bag anchors or water container anchors both wrap about the legs to secure but due to design of the marquee’s with no way for wind to get away so creating a sail, anchors don't work particularly well. Only mean’t to be serviceable in very light breeze no wind!
Thank you
Interesting reviews. I have had mine about 6 years and has never leaked and nothing broken. Pools in one corner but not much we just use a tarp saver on a pole when heavy rain is about. Was about to buy another one but not so sure now
Are these meant to be non pooling?
I presume you mean, does the roof of the Gazebo hold water.? Even in heavy storms I have never had water stay on roof, or have to use methods to get it to drain. So I am very happy. Also had tent Erected in.bad weather and hasnt budged. Great for Seniors.
Yeah well mine is stretched out and fills like a bucket! Even dynabolted to concrete pad and guy ropes all tight! Guess i got the lemon but oztrail doesnt care!
Promoted as non pooling tho!
There are a few reviews I would question such as it leaked more than the Titanic well I guess if you had a hole in it like the Titanic then yes it would leak.
Leaking is not pooling. The question was pooling.
What is the height?
sorry i havent the energy to look but must be 8mts
The height varies depending on which model Oztrail Gazebo you purchase and what height you put the legs (as the legs have a couple of different height variations). The 3m x 3m Deluxe 3.0 and Hydroflow Deluxe 3.0 Models have a maximum peak height of 3.35m and a maximum walk in height of 223cm
How do the vertical rails (hinged) fit to the gazebo poles?
The "frame" is all one piece, The support poles and roof support is all one unit, if just concertinas and pulls out and collapses as one large piece. Very easy to put up and take down. Just put the cover on before you raise the support poles or you wont be able to reach to get the cover over the top.
The Scissor Arm Struts (vertical rails) are secured to the leg (gazebo pole?) via a couple of plastic fittings and a couple of screws for each plastic fitting. The Oztrail Gazebo are all joined together this way so there is no need to assemble anything, just pull the frame out, put the cover on (when the frame is about halfway open) and then secure it to the ground
What is the best way to repair small tears in the canopy of a deluxe canopy ?
I tried number of different things but nothing worked and Alfresco do not have a repair kit for it either so I had to buy a new canopy...
Gaffer/Duct tape is a great allrounder. Give that a try.
Oztrail don't have a gazebo repair kit as such for their canopies but a number of our customers have said they've been able to use a tent repair kit (small bit of tent fabric and glue) and it has worked for them as a quick fix
Can the inside of the canopy be washed with water an a mild detergent ?
Yes it can.
No it can't.
Yes it can, just don't scrub too hard or you will wear away the silver lining (which gives the UV protection). Here's the cleaning instructions from Oztrail Never store a damp or dirty Oztrail Gazebo as mould and corrosion can form. Always allow the Oztrail Gazebo to dry completely before packing and stowing. If mildew occurs use a soft bristle brush or sponge with mild detergent to clean it off. After beach use or wet weather treat all zips, poles and pegs with silicon spray.
