My recently brought pacvac superpro keeps making this blockage noise when nothing is blocked only a quarter full can you explain why this is happening ?

Jerzy Komosa
Jerzy Komosa

Hi Suzanne, Mine does the same, I guess there is some kind of valve to let more air in,..to cool motor down,...when floor tool is sucking dirt. But to get the exact answer, I recommend you contact Pacvac service number. Cheers

What happens when the Vacuum overheats?

Pacvac
Pacvac   DM

Hi Ngamihi, Great question! Our machines have been designed to be efficient and durable but most importantly safe. If the vacuum cleaner motor temperature rises the thermal switch will immediately, turn the motor off to prevent it from burning out.

This is most commonly caused by overfilled dust bags, blocked filters or hoses/ wands/ floor tools, which can be easily corrected. Below is a link to a video showing how to perform safety checks to prevent this sort of issues from occurring:

Well maintained machine is much less likely to overheat and much more likely to perform optimally.

Besides award winning products, we also offer exceptional customer service, so if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to reach out to our friendly team on: support@pacvac.com - we are here to help :)

Since ive had the vac the pole falls out while using. Its like the fitting is not tight enough but i dont want to bend it out of shape to clamp it as it needs to still be removeable for hand vac areas.

Hi there, ive had the backpack vac for a few weeks now but ive got what seems to be a blockage but ive cleared all hose and pole and the head and theres no blockage. When turning on the vac for 2 secs its normal then struggles to suck , sounding like its struggling to suck and i dont wanna blow up the motor. What else do i check??

Jerzy Komosa
Jerzy Komosa

Run the the vacuum without the hose, and if it does not help, take the top cover off the vacuum cleaner and switch it on, and see what happens. It might be the faulty motor. Cheers

Bugger.. no change. Damn it

Pacvac
Pacvac   DM

Hi Catherine, Thank you for your question and we are sorry you are experiencing these issues. Its great that you've checked the hose, wand and floor tools. Also check the inlet on the lid (where the hose connects) and ensure your filter and dust bags aren't clogged with fine dust, by giving them a tap out or a brush over with the dusting brush. If this does not help, I recommend taking your machine to an authorised service centre, where they will be able to perform tests on the machine to determine what is behind this suction restrictions and get it fixed for you.

All our machines are covered under warranty for period of 2 years from purchase on the body and motor.

To find a service centre near you simply visit: external link  and enter your preferred location in the search box. Please ensure that you call the selected service centre prior to your visit to ensure they are able to service your machine at your selected time.

We pride our customer service, so don't hesitate to reach out to our friendly team on: sales@pacvac.com or 08 9479 1444 (8am-4pm WST - we are based in Perth) and we will do our absolute best to help you find a solution.

Is the superpro subjected to overheating

Pacvac
Pacvac   DM

Hi Wendy, Thank you for your interest in our products. In reply to your question the Superpro 700 does not ordinarily overheat unless there is a blockage, reducing airflow. To ensure optimum performance we recommend: - that the disposable dust bags be replaced when full; - when replacing disposable dust bags check the reusable dust bag to ensure it's pores are not blocked. If the reusable dust bag is dusty - use the dusting brush to clean it; - also check the filter to ensure it is not blocked, if found dusty - remove it from the vacuum cleaner and tap gently on the edge of bin to loosen all dust and debris stuck in the folds. If this is found ineffective replace filter; - also check the hose, wand and floor tool for blockages by dropping a coin in one end to see if it comes out easily on the other end - if it does not, there is a blockage that will need clearing out before it is used again.

Pacvac
Pacvac   DM

Hi Adam, I'm glad you asked! Our Superpro 700 has been designed to deal with all kinds of mess - pet hairs included! To assist with removal of pet hair from rugs and carpets I would recommend a purchase of our Turbo Head Floor Tool (product code FLT007 - available from our online store: external link . This floor tool has a spinning brush, which utilising only the powerful suction of our vacuum cleaners, agitates the carpet fibres and remove pet hair, sand and dust.

Hi I have owned my pacvac super 700 For just under a year, this past week I have noticed a loss in suction, not major but noticeable Not the usual blockages But I have figured out that if I use the reusable dust bag with the paper dust bag the suction loss is there and it sounds like air is escaping, without the paper bag and just the reusable dust bag the suction is back to normal and the air escaping sound is gone. What can I do to fix this?

Kellie

Try to make sure the ends are folded over evenly.

Hi, which model do you recommend for a Gymnastics club? I see in response to some questions of builders dust etc you recommend the thrift 650, then the 700 micron. With a huge carpet area to vacuum and lots of chalk not unlike gyprock dust what model do you mostly recommend? So far the commercial vacuums have been less than terrible. Thanks Liz

Can I wash the filter BASKET in the Pacvac?. It’s dirty and I’ve tried blowing out the dust but still dirty.

Pacvac
Pacvac   DM

Hi Beaming L, Thank you for your question, it’s great to see as keeping a clean dust bag (and filter) enhances the longevity of your machine and ensures optimal airflow/suction. We provide a spare dust bag in the box when you purchase your vacuum to provide convenient cleaning, so in effect you can give the dirty dust bag a good shake out and then vacuum it clean, with the spare dust bag in place. Alternatively, you can wash these reusable SMS dust bags, however you must ensure you are very thorough in washing as any dust / dirt left to dry after washing may clog the pores of the bag, not allowing the air to pass through effectively. It’s equally important that the dust bag is thoroughly dry before putting it back into the machine. If you have been using the same reusable dust bag for some time, we do recommend replacing them with new ones if it appears the worst for wear. If you are located within Australia, you can purchase a replacement dust bag through our online store via this link external link  , or from one of our stockists. For more safety and maintenance tips on Pacvac machines, you can visit the Pacvac Academy at external link  where we provide short to the point video tutorials on your vacuum cleaner.

I hope this is helpful to you, please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions about our product/s.

Hope you have a great day!

Best, Juliet

Any non OEM batteries fit this?

Pacvac
Pacvac   DM

Hi Jason, We don’t believe that there are any OEM batteries, that would work with our Machine. Further to this, Pacvac batteries are designed with many safety features in mind, protecting the battery while delivery the best runtime possible to operate the machine. Typically (but not all) non-OEM batteries remove these safety features to reduce costs.

Please reach out if you require any assistance. Have a great day, Urvin

Jason B.
Jason B.

Thanka Urvin. That's the main drawback of battery back pack vacuums. The cost of the batteries. I have a pullman and 6 additional batteries just for 1 days work. If the batteries were more reasonably priced you would get a lot more people onboard as $500 is ridiculous for 45m runtime.

Pacvac
Pacvac   DM

Hi Jason B, We hear you and we understand your frustration. All manufacturers are in the same boat when it comes to Li-ion batteries. They are used commonly in the high-quality commercial cleaning equipment and improvements from the cell manufacturers (Pacvac uses Samsung) in making their products cheaper has been small and incremental. Since introducing our battery technology in 2018, we have seen a significant shift with the cleaning industry buying battery technology over our corded products for the cost savings in productivity (up to 4 times faster than when using a corded backpack) and also the reduction in costs of not having to replace cords and getting the cords tested and tagged, means that the return on investment is favourable.

But in saying that, it really depends on your cleaning application as to whether a battery or corded machine is best for you. Our batteries will cost you $338 for a set of two, if you are using Pacvac’s battery vacuums.

Regardless of where you buy, we provide the highest level of customer service scoring a 4.3/5 star rating on product review. We pride ourselves with an exceptional after-sales service, so you can always reach out to us directly and we will assist with any matter.

Please reach out if you require any assistance as we are here to help.

Have a great day,  Urvin

Well everything's is best about this vacuum.. Just two things that I hate about it is it's harness which is not so comfortable and feels very cheap and wessel tool that falls apart after longs uses and wheels start coming off again and again..I think Pullmans is little bit heavier but still best in terms of build and harness..

Pacvac
Pacvac   DM

Hi Ashish, Thank you for your review and feedback of our Superpro 700 backpack vacuum, we are so pleased that you are finding great value of your machine. We are always keen to hear directly from our users about their experience as it really helps us continuously improve our products.

When designing our harness and back support system, we worked with chiropractors and ergonomists to ensure our machines achieve wearable comfort, and have been manufactured to ensure safe operator use. This factors in the breathability of the material choices of the harness, and ultimately delivering a lightweight machine which puts the least amount of stress on its users.

Typically, discomfort is only ever experienced when our backpacks aren’t being worn correctly, I’ve attached a link below to our Pacvac Academy where you can follow a simple guide to machine wearability: external link  . We hope these videos are helpful and improves the comfort level of our machine on your back.

We are sorry to hear you are having issues with the wheels of your all-purpose floor tool that comes in the box with the Superpro 700. As it is a consumable item in nature, wear and tear is to be expected, particularly when used frequently for professional cleaning, or in heavy-duty environments. Owing to its low profile design and lightweight construction, not to mention a much more economical product to replace compared with other brands, it is still by far the most popular floor tool in the market today.

Pacvac has several other floor tool options in our range which you can consider adding to your machine. We can recommend our turbo head floor tool which might suit your usage better, if you deal a lot with carpets, this non-powered unit utilises the suction and airflow of the vacuum cleaner to spin the bristles, agitating dirt and debris to achieve better pick up on and a deeper carpet clean. external link  Alternatively, the combination floor tool is also popular amongst our users. Find it here: external link

We hope these information helps with your concerns and please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can help you further. Kind regards, Urvin
