Pain Relief Australia EMS Foot Massage Mat

My elderly mother purchased two of these with no indication at any time during the checkout that the price would be in USD, even though Australia was the destination. Bank contacted her warning the site is a scam. Immediately attempted to cancel the order and received over a week of delaying tactics from customer service, after which I was informed that the order was on the way and could not be cancelled. Be extremely cautious.
Purchased for $126.92.
Order No 5557136294096 EMSense I recently attempted to purchase two heating foot massagers from EMSense. Unfortunately, the transaction did not proceed as smoothly as expected, and I would like to outline my concerns. Initially, my debit card—which I have successfully used worldwide for many years—was not accepted. After changing to another debit card, the payment appeared to go through. However, several issues became apparent afterward: • When entering the new card details and clicking the Pay button, there was no clear invoice breakdown displayed. • At no point during the checkout process was it indicated that the price was in USD, despite the products being delivered within Australia. • Although I intended to purchase two units, I was charged for four. • The charges appeared as: AUD 104.53 + 104.53 + 3.66 + 3.66, totalling AUD 216.38. • The advertised price was $69.98 for two units. I have sent three emails to EMSense requesting clarification and a refund, but to date I have not received a response. Beware when dealing with EMSense! Captain Cook
Follow-up · After escalation and correspondence, EMSense has now refunded AUD 210 of the amount charged. While I appreciate that a refund was eventually provided, the original transaction process involved unclear currency disclosure, multiple charges, and incorrect quantity. The refund was only issued after public reviews and formal complaints. I am updating this review to reflect that a refund was received, while maintaining my original experience for transparency to other consumers.
Purchased in for $216.38.
EMS foot massager is rubbish – Worked only a few times. I contacted Pain relief and would not refund after 30 days. They actually count the days from when you purchase the item not when it is delivered. Do not trust this company.

Doesn’t last after a couple of uses – Worked twice then never again. Reviews on Facebook show this is a common problem unfortunately. If you don’t know soon enough and refund or return it within 30 days of purchase you have lost your money so it’s better to just not waste your money. I wish I’d seen the reviews before I’d brought it.
