Great heater for all those cold days and nights – Since my first paloma, (I have left it as a present), this is my second one. Very powerful unit, very fast and effective heater. With remote control, time setup to turn on and off, for those early mornings or before you come back from work, it's a piece of cake to use. WE got it from factory seconds  Show details

Mine is 10 years old and is no problem with it, works perfect – Heats my lunchroom perfect and I have high ceilings and no door to the rest of the house. The other rooms don't get that warm because the position of the lunch, I have no complains. This year I put another in my dinning room so the door is facing rest of the house and I have no doubts is going to work heating all house except lunchroom. I highly… Read more

recommended. Clean your filters regular. Gus from time to time some days smell, but that's not the heater fault.

Really good at heating up our large room – Purchased this a while ago. Saved heaps on energy bills by using this rather than ducted heating system. No problems with this. Very happy customer. Would purchase again for another room. Ours works rather quietly and I agree only some noise for first couple seconds. I also use the timers, this feature is useful to us.

Excellent and efficient heater - very quiet – We absolutely love this heater and have never had a problem with it. It is only noisy for the first 3 seconds when you start it and then it is very quiet. We've had ours for four years and use it all the time. It heats up a large room quickly and efficiently. Wonderful heater and I think I will never buy another brand other than Paloma! We paid $1150 for ours brand new and have been very happy with our purchase.

Noisy after a few winters – Bought my heater about 4 years ago. It was great for the first few years but has started to become increasingly noisy with a constant and increasing fan rattle. Repair costs seem, prohibitive. Just had it cleaned and was charged $300 with no improvement to gas smell and increasing noise. Think next time I will go the rinnai.

Brilliant! – Easy to use; quickly establishes desired room temp & compact unit ! Twin timers function is extremely useful. We have a large open floor plan (2 storey home) & the whole house benefits. Couldn't be happier! Most importantly, my wife, kids and pets love it. Good value for money & efficient to run. Design; performance & functionality

OK – very satisfied with the heating performance and price I paid $800.00 but if some body can help me with above problem it will be great initially was very good was competitive comparing to other similar conterminously facing the problem shut down again and again displaying 12 if you keep turning it "on" then will keep on running which is annoying

Efficient but noisy – I purchased it a couple of weeks back. It heats up the place well. We are happy with its heating capabilities. It heats up the place well. We are happy with its heating capabilities. Sometimes it starts humming really loud. It is annoying. If the company takes it back I would return mainly because of the noise.

Excellent – Overall this is an attractive, compact and really easy to use heater. I would recommend it. Price-wise we paid $900 for it which was about 300 less than the equivalent rinnai models. Ours is the charcoal finish one which looks quite sleek (for a heater) Pumps out an awesome amount of heat, really heats our whole living area in a few minutes. … Read more

Very easy to use as well, just hit the on button and it automatically ignites and heats the room to whatever temp you like Can sometimes smell gassy? I cleaned the filter and it seemed to go away. The manual is a little hard to understand in parts.

We have 2 of these ~9yrs and a second ~5yrs very good build quality & quiet – Bought this instead of a Rinnai - came with 2yr warranty & it's made in Japan. You need to vacuum the filters weekly as the filters can block up. (We get lots of dust in WA) It comes with a remote with on/off, temp + - & timers on/off. You can set 2 daily on/off times - one for the am & one for pm. There is also an override button which turns… Read more

heater on when the timers not active & off when the timer is active( handy when you're going out or want the heater on).

I bought a 3m extension gas lead for it so we can position heater away from furniture.

Bought the second unit on Gumtree for half price. Timers, econo mode

Terrible – Very poor opinion and even poorer opinion of the repair company. Zero service, rude and they dont deserve to be in business Originally liked the look and thought that it was a quality product. Bought from Harvey Norman After 3 winters the heater became extremely noisy and the repair quote was $515 which is totally unacceptable. I would never buy one again and we have a Rinnai which is 15 years old and still runs perfectly.

Excellent – This is our second winter with this heater and it has been great. Very little gas use (just 2 x 45kg bottles last year to heat the house) and kept us very warm. We bought it because it had the highest energy rating and relatively low cost. Very efficient and fast heating ability Ambiguous error codes (displays "11" when out of gas)
