Panasonic KX-TG6823ALB

I'm astounded this product is on the market. Whilst it's basic function is to record messages (which is does adequately), it also randomly DELETES them! I had around 20 messages stored on the phone which I had wanted to keep but had not yet found a way to download (#spoiler - you can't download them). They were from my Grandmother who recently passed away. It was so special to be able to hear her voice and giggling when she'd update me on something we'd previously spoken about, or thank me for something I did for her and telling me she loved me.

That's all gone now.

This piece of 'kit' deleted them for no reason, and to make matters worse - there's NO way to retrieve them!

I reached out to Panasonic in hope there was a solution I hadn't found, and after back-and-forth a few times, the 'consultant' basically accused me of deleting them myself!! Yeah, seriously. But why would I do that.

If you need a 'gate keeper' when you don't want to answer the phone and have no interest in the messages being left for you or whether they're retained - this phone is perfect. For anything else, I'd definitely look elsewhere!
