Absolute rubbish voice/reception quality – The reception is very poor despite the handset being only 8 metres from the base station. Speaker quality is tinny, distorted rubbish. Waste of $220 Wish I had done some research but who researches Panasonic? They've been around, they're Japanese, they used to represent quality. So, forget it. Look elsewhere  Show details

Volume Terrible – Volume is FAR too low. Phone also makes static noises. I literally can not hear ANY speech when Volume is set to maximum. All 3 handsets are the same. This was $280, and it has a 20cent speaker in it. Dead useless. I trusted Panasonic. Not anymore. It's getting returned as faulty to OfficeWorks.  Show details

Nice phone. Easy to use – The Panasonic KX-TG803 series is a nice phone. The initial charge took a few hours to get from flat battery to full charge. It was easy to set up. Phone volume is good and the intercom function is pretty sweet. The only improvement I could suggest is that the base unit stand should have the ability to be able to fix to a wall. As it is it is… Read more

purely a stand for flat surfaces like tables. Other than that, the phone set has everything I need and I'm happy with the purchase.

Sound quality is poor – We recently switched from Uniden to Panasonic after all the rave reviews regarding superior sound quality with Panasonic. Didn't find it with this model! We are using this with VOIP. There is a low level background hiss and voices are somewhat muffled, not crisp, which is disappointing, so no better than the ten year old Uniden. We couldn't find the model we wanted in Hobart stores, so had to settle for this one.

and going through 4 brick walls

I got these phones

because of the 1.9 ghz so it does not run on the same frequency as my dual band wifi

I have had panasonic phones before.... I`m glad I came back to them

much better than uniden cordless phones ... which is a whole other story. user interface, clear sound, good looking phone, copy phone book contacts from 1 handset to the other handsets none so far

Poor sound – Although this phone has some good features, it is let down by poor reception. We've had the phone for 2 weeks and have experienced intermittent voice dropouts and fading during calls. This is despite being near the base station and no obvious electrical interference. The repeater station hasn't helped nor has re-setting the base unit. A friend… Read more

with the same model is experiencing similar issues although she lives in a higher density area.

We previously owned a Panasonic phone and had no problems at all in this regard. Will be returning unit to the store. It works in a blackout. looks good Voice drop outs and fading during calls. Lots of gimmicky ring tones but hard to find one you can live with
