Not what is advertised – Not suitable for hard of hearing or those who do not enjoy fiddling around with things. The 'boost' and volume controls only make a marginal difference. Phonebook entries need to be manually input - ridiculous in this digital age where entries should able to be copied from another phone. Nothing like the "Clear, Loud and Easy to Use" as advertised. Show details

Look around before you pick – Panasonic use to be a gold name but after so many years there short cuts catch up to the buyer with having to be a 4 year col age to run one and with the short cuts to get more money and being only half as good as they use to be. I bought 3 triple sets of them and got one that worked ! when calling for help that was a insult from hell ! I got… Read more

hang ups to things they could not help me with ! Could not get refunded on the phones that did not work but only blamed ! but before that i used Panasonic for 20 years never a problem ! then one day a power plug stop working and i bought a new set and it was when trouble started it seems now the set i have for land lines is doing fine but before that service stunk ! All phone recording that were made to put you out of your mind and know it still. So buyer beware ! look around and you make your pick. I know i will. The phone recording did me in and if that's how they want it well my money can be used else where. Sorry if i'am testy but there help recording will do that to a man. Good bye.

Handy for me and my Mum – The phone takes a little understanding to set up, but it's laid out quite simply, You can set the phone to answer just by lifting up the receiver without pressing the talk button, the phone announces the callers name as it rings, ( if the caller is in the phones phone book). So the listener is aware of any familiar incoming calls,) The speed dial… Read more

is straightforward, i.e.. keep your finger on one of the dialling digits 1 - 9, and each one is allocated to a phone number, it will display the persons name and number, and then just press talk, for the call to go through,

The phone book is split into different groups, mine are family, friends, customers, medical/dentist/vet, etc.

The light flashes as the phone rings, the answering machine is good and straightforward,

The phone is loud and clear enough and can be set higher, it's attractive, feels good and is well made, quite expensive. I found it very difficult to get hold of the twin set purchasing mine online from 2nds world, you can purchase the single handled modal at the good guys. I love the phone and it's better for my mother too !
