lasted for 6 years – Worked fine for the first 3 years then began making loud noises. Ignored the noises.Eventually a bearing must have failed and the outer rim of the drum was rubbing on the exterior housing causing sparks during the spin cycle .The front of the machine also got very hot. Excellent – Perfect machine.Has an inverter which determines the size of load and temperature and how dirty the load is. Its a quiet machine .Has beeper when load is finished. It washes really well.I have had it repaired twice for leaking.The inverter melted a pipe.It is a good machine but i wouldn't buy a panasonic again.  Show details

Very Disappointed! – This is the first front loader washing machine I have bought and I have been so disappointed. The BIG problem is it does not rinse well even when I choose extra rinse. This is particularly noticeable when washing towels. They do not come out clean and fresh like in my old F& P top loaders. In fact they don't smell nice at all! I also do not like the way the machine often has a bad smell.

Give it a miss – Doesnt wash clothes well at all, have complained to manufacturer via with their response to contact customer service?? Thats who I emailed! Keep having errors and wont spin, cleared filter and drain hose and works again but nothing blocking unit. Dont buy despite large drum size

Don't do it – Has been repaired twice already in two years, waited 50 days (without a washing machine with two kids and a farmer husband) worked for two week and now broken again. Will never buy another Panasonic brand again. Thanks for looking after your customers Panasonic!!!!!!! When it worked it washed clothes More of a headache than it needed to be, Panasonic service leaves a lot to be desired

local Betta manager he informed me we had a local representative and therefore should there be a problem, there would be no call centres or automated calls, we would be talking directly to the people who would be fixing it!

This was a big factor for me, as it isn't a cheap machine and hence I would hope/expect very little problems, but should there be problems, I know I won't be waiting days let alone weeks before getting it fixed.

Performance wise, WOW, our clothes have never been to cleaner, and with young children there is never a shortage of washing, but I seem to be looking for extra bits to wash now because I can fit so much in! Gone are the days I have to put load after load on to try an catch up! It's also incredibly quiet.

I hope I get many years out of this machine! :) It's size and efficiency. Haven't found anything, yet!

the size of the load-i quite often use the eco funtion which reduces the wash time further. I haven't had any issues with this machine in the time that I've had it. Fast wash cycle; load size; adjusts water dependant on load Would be nice if the door for the drain at the bottom was able to be removed to make for easier draining when cleaning the filter
