no fire. Contacted Panasonic as within warranty but after sending photos as requested, tech team claimed it wasn't product malfunction, implying we had burnt our food!! Of course we burn our food on purpose to claim warranty!!! We are not idiots. Absolutely disgusted at how this was handled. Definitely not buying Panasonic - we said that last time but thought we give them a go again as it had been 10 years and surely they have improved - NOT!
