Purchased a robot vacuum (Viomi S9) from Panmi. Died within warranty. Claimed it was not a warranty issue and I needed to dismantle and replace parts at my cost. Stopped replying to emails, no working phone number. ACCC liaison was not able to resolve. Do not buy from Panmi. They should not be operating in Australia.
Horrible customer service! The Xiaomi vacuum became faulty after less than 6 months use. The customer support in Australia is literally one person. His stance is always to avoid responsibility. He claimed to have repaired the product, and it was faulty as soon as it’s returned to me. Now the so called customer service is not replying my messages on any forums. Dodgey business shame on you!!!
Good customer service – I've bought two escooters from them, one direct from the company and one through Ebay. Excellent customer service when one of the scooters had problems with the controller. I sent it back and after reviewing the scooter offered either a refund or another scooter.
Warranty not honoured – Electric scooter was sent to Panmi via JB hi fi. Took 1 month only to be told they would not honour the warranty due to 'misuse'. Scooter was in mint condition and was barely used, the report even stated everything was in working order. Only problem was the screws had cut through the plastic mud guard. They insisted on $209 to rectify. I… Read more
questioned 'misuse' knowing this was not the case and was ghosted. Scooter has been taken, never returned, it's been nearly 3 months.
They just ghost and ignore – My scooter broke over a month ago, went to get it repaired via JB, they sent it to panmi. Didn't hear anything for a month, they finally sent me a checklist via email about whats wrong with it. They didn't check the brakes, nor tell me what they're doing. I have sent email, after email, after email asking whats going on with it. Zero response. I… Read more
have tried their Panmi service site which I cannot access. I don't know their phone number line to call. Have they just stolen my device??? They just ghost, not bothering to tell me what they're doing with my device. Nothing.
Refused to honour warranty obligations – Bought a Segway scooter on Bunnings Marketplace via their Electric Unicorn shadow company. Terrible after sales service. Refused to honour any warranty obligations when the Segway scooter failed after 3 weeks. Sent us to progress it via the manufacturer instead, and then ignored communication when the manufacturer states a refund is required.… Read more
[Name Removed] then said for us to send the scooter to them, knowing full well the scooter was sent to the manufacturer as requested by them prior.
A company with no physical address, and no method to communicate directly in person or by phone is hiding for a reason

Limited Mileage Raises Concerns (< 1000km and 100% broken) – After only 983.96 km over 2 years and 8 months, my Xiaomi Electric Scooter 3 unexpectedly malfunctioned. This low mileage, primarily commuting between Richmond, Victoria, and the city, raises concerns about the scooter's longevity (averaging 7km a week - which is rare usage). Less than 1000km total lifespan, the scooter has not broken. I live in… Read more
Richmond, Victoria, and I work in the CBD. I used the scooter only on good quality bike paths.
Despite the minimal use, the company declined repair cost coverage, citing an expired warranty. I shared video evidence, but the customer service response was unsatisfactory. Considering my experience, I advise potential buyers in Australia and beyond to scrutinize the company's after-sales support and warranty policies before making a purchase decision. I mentioned all this information to the company, and they simply replied back with "Hi Myles, please refer to our warranty policy here: https://www.panmi.com.au/xiaomi-warranty/".
Please review my email to their team and the response.
