Hosting speed is atrotious and it is genuinley impossible to contact them. Most of my hosting is with Crucial who also sold to a larger company and the sites I have with them are no comparison better for same price. More importantly their support is an actual scam. Live chat responds after 4-5 hours of stringing along. Phone on hold forever. No response to tickets. I am convinced no one works there.

I am so frustrated with Panthur's support post their migration of our website www.vsag.org.au. They have broken several things. Wait time on support is 60min plus, tickets are not being updated or answered. It's so bad whirlpool now have a thread on this topic as we are not the only one affected by these migrations... https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/thread/35pppvxj?p=-1.

Just got a renewal reciept from Panther for a domain that they dont look after. Havnt used them for years. They have put a $29 charge on my creditcard. Off to the ACCC.

 Follow-up  · I chased them and they apologised and refunded.

Most irritating Web hosting ever. Went to make changes to my website and the Cpanel editing link wasn't working. Phoned Panthur and they were hopeless. Could hardly understand the person, and numerous times he put me on hold for several minutes to find out the answer to questions he should've known instantly. basic thing - where to link in to make changes to my site. Seriously considering taking my websites to another provider. PS have since found out that to make changes I will need to rebuild the site again from scratch

We have been a client of Panthur for over 13 years. When we first joined, they were a great host, but after the company was sold a few years ago, the support became significantly worse. emails, website, etc. went down. There was no record of notices in our email nor in the Panthur dashboard. No invoices were generated in order to be able to renew the domain. As 30 days had passed, the domain entered recovery mode, which required a $220 fee to reactivate our domain.

Though we were not at fault, we paid the fee and asked for the communication issues to be investigated. The communication issues remain - their support team was arrogant and unhelpful. Support tickets remained unresolved. They refused to listen until one team member actually looked into the issue and - shock horror - discovered that we had not, in fact, been sent renewal or support notices all along. We'll be transferring our services away to a more communicative host and registrar.

Do not use Panthur if you need reliable communication and support.

told that the transfer had failed because the ABN on file was expired. This was never communicated to us. No email. No alert. No update. As a result our domain is now in serverHold status, expired, and completely offline. Our business email is down. Our website is down. We are actively losing revenue and cannot communicate with clients.

I was told yesterday by their agent Crestin that the issue had been escalated and would be handled by the domains team. Today, I followed up - only to be told NO TICKET WAS EVER CREATED. I had to repeat the entire issue, re-submit the ABN, and again stress the urgency.

The tone of the agents throughout has been robotic and tone-deaf. Repeated “thanks for being on hold” messages, no direct answers, and phrases like “No worries” while our business infrastructure is still inaccessible. No real empathy, no sense of urgency, and no ownership.

This isn’t a minor customer service slip. This is a critical failure caused by Panthur’s internal process gaps and total lack of communication. Their system showed our domain as “pending” when it had in fact failed. Had we not chased this repeatedly, we’d still be left completely in the dark.

We are still offline. We still have no idea when it will be fixed. And no one at Panthur has taken accountability.

If you run a business, look elsewhere. This is not a company you can trust with your domain.

Bad service - Do not recommend – Useless hosting provider. I was talking to the help desk operator and they just quit the conversation without offering any assistance. Very unhelpful been with these guys for a while and have a number of other accounts with them, will be taking them all going elsewhere.
