Firstly, customer service is outstanding! Very helpful, accommodating, informative, prompt. Initial set up was somewhat confusing and difficult - I had to ask a friend to help me set it up as there isn't really clear instructions for someone who doesn't deal with tech. Unfortunately I didn't get to use the products as my plans to start a business fell though - so unable to comment here.
I cannot thank Raymond enough for his help today. Honestly I was almost in tears, as when there are technical issues, some of us have no clue, but he helped amend the issue. Worth his weight in gold ! Show reply

Charged my credit card for a domain when it was already paid for in full.
Then said i could have an account credit.
Upon asking for a refund i was given the run around.
They won't answer their own service tickets. Upon chatting to an agent he submitted a ticket to investigate using a totally different domain - attention to detail, any kind of genuine attempt to resolve my simple refund has been met by hopeless customer service.
Inept. Go elsewhere. I have.

Webcentral is owned by a Foreign Capital Fund group ... Just another Australian sell-out. The Website is Deliberately Tailored to make navigation difficult with anything relating to Cancellations, Transparency, your Personal information etc. They have incorrectly charged me twice. I’ve just had one of the most frustrating and unacceptable experiences I’ve ever encountered with a domain registrar. I manually renewed one domain after my old card expired. I entered my new card details solely for that single transaction. Without my consent, the company then used my new card to charge additional domain renewals that I did not… Read more

Instead of acknowledging the issue, they repeatedly hid behind scripted explanations about “auto‑renewal” and “policy,” completely ignoring the fact that I never approved the use of my new card for anything other than the one domain I renewed manually.
Their system automatically saving a card and charging it for unrelated invoices is not “policy” — it’s a billing practice that overrides customer consent.
Every response I received avoided the core issue: they charged my card without authorisation.
They also repeatedly claimed that renewals are “non‑reversible” due to ICANN rules, which is misleading. ICANN rules do not prevent refunds for billing errors or unauthorised transactions — they simply don’t want to refund.
The customer service approach was dismissive, circular, and entirely unwilling to take responsibility for their system charging a card that was never approved for auto‑renewal.
If you value transparency, consent, or basic control over your own payment methods, I strongly recommend avoiding this company. Their billing practices are opaque, their policies override customer choice, and their support team refuses to address legitimate concerns.
I have disputed the unauthorised charges with my bank. This has taken a large chunk of time - 4 hours thus far to repeatedly email Webcentral, speak to the bank and deal with this matter.
