Pascall Licorice Allsorts

Yuk very sickly – The best ever Licorice Allsorts were by Darell Lea they used to be bigger, tastier & you can peel apart now they are revolting & si disappointing. All Lollies & Chocolates taste different.
what happened to my fav? – Its been a few years since I've eaten these. But a fond memory made me ask for some from my son for fathers day. Unfortunately, big disappointment. I have to echo the comments made here. Loaded with sugar and dessi coconut, stale taste, checked expiry date but that was fine. No licorice that i can taste. Cant "peel" even though the packet says to do so, like I used to. I'll be taking it up with pascall as its not fit for eating.
Pascall non-licorice two sorts – Pascall have no right to call these Licorice allsorts, no point in an explanation they are total rubbish. They should be taken off the shelves and burnt. The original allsorts were of good quality and taste, I think we have be conned into buying this cheap imitation rubbish of a product. Shame on Pascall for selling them. Taste and variety
What are these things ? – I normally buy a cheaper brand and they leave these for dead - funny, I remember these used to be really good - a bit posh. I ate the tiny liquorice ropes [all three of them! ] and threw the rest out. There was little variety or colour and the the taste was terrible. A more suitable name would have been plasticky sugary two sorts. Nice packaging though.
Seriously awful – I eat licorice allsorts regularly so I know what I want. I bought Pascall because it's a premium brand -- but never again. These allsorts are weird -- really awful. I'm glad it was was small pack. The texture and the flavours were both 'off'. Actually 'flavours' is not the right word. There is only one flavour and it's certainly not… Read more
licorice. My wife tried one and said it was coconut. She hated it and gave me the other half. Thanks.
Licorice allsorts made from coconut? What genius thought that was a good idea? Licorice allsorts are a traditional, basic sweet. It's amazing that Pascall mucked these up so comprehensively.
Taste, texture, flavour
YUCK!! Wish I read these reviews :( – I had a licorice craving for days, these were on special in coles so I took them... ewww!!! No point repeating all the other reviews but yep: sweet, non-licorice candy ... that is all!! I find it funny that at the top of this page it says "unpeel the layers", may as well try unpeeling a jellybean, it wouldnt work well but at least it would taste better. They looked real taste, no licorice, can't "peel" like you want to with Allsorts!!
where is the licorice – i have eaten licorice allsorts for 50 years and love them. twice recently i have been unlucky enough to havr picked up pascall brand. i am surprised pascall have not been prosecuted for false representation as there is nothing resembling licorice inside the bag. black stripes on the sweets taste no different than the rest. i feel totally ripped off!
Colored sugar, no taste or licorice :( – They no longer have any licorice in them, just some sticky black goo. Each color tastes the same, like sweet nothing. Pretty, but a very disappointing product. As well as the typical square allsorts, there are also 'licorice pieces', which again, bear absolutely no resemblance in taste or texture to licorice. Should change the name, as it is… Read more
misleading. Very disappointing, WILL NOT be buying this brand of allsorts again. Looked delicious and licoricy Bland, tasteless, Does not contain licorice
Who makes the best ones?
Very disappointed – I have always enjoyed Pascall sweets but recently bought their Licorice Allsorts for the first and last time.....I was very disappointed in the texture and taste, in my opinion they were very sickly sweet with a sickly smell - can't be a winner in all areas of confectionary (love clinkers). disappointed in texture, taste and the smell (very sickly)
