I'm trying to find out what size battery do I need for my Perma Lifestyle Professional BMI Analysis Scale
The batteries went flat and after we changed them only a number will come up, it wont turn on any more?
I would suggest either batteries not good or poor contact.
No the batteries are fine. the number 2402 only comes up
Not happy have tried multiple things with the scales it wont read anything else but my Weight i have tried 10 times and still comes up with faex (something like that) or err2 ... bloody brand new with brand new batteries that came with it bloody joke it your going to advertise it to do multiple things bloody have it do it
Have you set yourself as a user. Gender height mass and age. Switch on press up should show user 1. Let zero and stand on with bare feet.
What size and type of batteries do I need
I have put all my details into the scales and then stand. Its gives my weight and then processes and then says FAtH and turns off. How do ninget all my stats?
What is the frek displayed on the screen after it checks your weight? Thanks.
I’m sure it’s a nice working product for some but I bought mine last night and I have filled the detials in like the manual told me. Only to get a weight and then if does the dots and comes up with either Faex and error. What is the reason for this? I have clean feet, no socks or shoes on only clothes and laying it down on the tiles nicely. Do I just take it back and get my money back or is there a way to Fix it? I’ve tried multiple things. I put it on P0 and P1 and still didn’t work
Sometimes it will give an error if it doesn't have a good connection (or if the batteries are flat) - if you have bare feet and did all the settings correctly (which sounds like you did if you are talking about p0 & p1) suggest change to new batteries - if that doesn't work then possibly faulty...
What is the order the measurements appear in?
I purchased the BMI Analysis Scale from a Priceline Pharmacy 2 weeks ago. it was ok to set up with my gender, height, etc. I am able to get a weight but it will not follow through with the body fat, hydration, bone and muscle. Today I have taken it back to priceline and they also had trouble and could not get it to work. Priceline also had one they were using in the store but that also would not give the BMI. I bought this particularly for the BMI reading so I am very disappointed. I have good contact, bare feet, clean feet, flat on tiles, it just does not work ! Priceline did offer me a refund, but I would be interested in hearing from you

Once you have entered your measurements (e.g. in to P1), when you turn it on again (by tapping the front switch), you then need to select the UP ARROW to set it back to P1 (the settings with show then revert to normal view but with "P1" showing as well) so that it knows to use those settings for the calculations (otherwise it will only give you your weight)... hope that helps!
Thank you, yes that has helped, the instruction leaflet is not this clear, as even the pharmacist could not get it to work and he followed the leaflet instruction

Has anyone else had problems setting their personal data in the scale? In the manual it says to press the set key and use the up and down buttons to scroll through but all ours does is change from Kg to lbs then Stones and lbs - no opportunity to set age or height. I'm wondering if this one might be faulty. I only got it yesterday.
Wait until it's off (nothing on display) then press the set button on the top of the unit only and p with flashing 0 should show up - then you can up/down arrow through the menus. If you press the mechanical "on" key at the front of the machine first it will only let you change units (which is what sounds like is happening).
My mother-in-law bought a pair of BMI analysis scales code: 1612 and we can't get it to process her readings. We have set 2 other people in and it will give all their readings but just keeps coming up fail on her setting doesn't matter who stands on scale or position of feet? What is going on?
I find it will error if you are not getting good contact with the electrodes on the top - you need to have bare feet and stand as centrally as possible.... hope that helps :-)
What does the running man symbol mean under the gender symbol it gives 2 separate readings depending on of it is there or not?
Seems to be an "athlete" setting... Alters the bmi algorithms... So you get lower bodyfat readings for same age height weight...
There is a power button? Where?
Been starting by set and going through all 5 answers each time.
Yes I was doing the same thing until I read someone else's review... power button is on the side of the machine at the front/back and is flush and also white so hard to see. Once you find it you will be a lot happier. It turns on and will read weight straight away or you can tap the up or down arrows to select a profile (without answering all the questions again!). Good luck.
The ON button is positioned at the sidewall of the these scales. So if you are standing in front of these scales you will need to press the centre of the sidewall facing the you.
I not happy with it I see and looked at these reviews after buying mine today and my button is yes flush with the unit but is behind you if you are on the scales doesn't even say power button anywhere on the book or on the unit, I only knew this through reading these reviews and my doesn't operate the way it says it changes each time and also the area where it is meant to show fat etc doesn't give me the reading it keeps coming up with either one of the two (ER-H) or (ERR) and that is within minutes of each other and after setting it up worked the first time Ok but after that nothing was going right and keeps changing and I am not over the weight of the scale (150)kg I am 135kgs. Doesn't work just the weight part does only and must put on hard floor not carpet as carpet gives you a lesser weight reading which I know most of you would love that lol Going back for more simple one to complicated for me.
