It doesn’t fit me – It look okay but it’s hard to put the baby in and out. It doesn’t have a picked the the mum can reach when carrying the baby. It pulls on your shoulders and it gives me a headache. The weight isn’t distributed well and instead heavily on shoulders Show details

Fantastic carrier!! – We bought this a few months ago for a holiday and I must admit I was a bit skeptical, I didn't think we would use it much. My 15 month old son LOVES it! He is comfortable in it and is up high, so he can see more and much prefers the carrier to being in a stroller or pram. The carrier itself is comfortable to wear, not too heavy and very… Read more

breathable too. We used it for long walks in Kakadu, so it was sunny and hot. My son didn't get too hot in it, and even fell asleep a few times. It has a great shade hood, which also has a rain cover as well. Everyone we walked past commented how comfortable and happy my son looked. It has a good harness for the baby and a big expandable storage pocket too. The only problem we had was that we had to turn the shade hood inside out so the rain plastic was on the outside, only because my son kept unhooking it and pulling it down to play with it. We have even started using the carrier at busy events like crowded expos, where its a bit of a nightmare pushing a pram or stroller through a crowd. everything! comfortable for the parent and child, storage, breathable material, highly adjustable, good shade, good harness, good quality

Terrible – The product itself is great. However, when ours arrived the hood was broken. To deal with any warranty issue with a P&T product you must go through the retailer you purchased it from, who then has to get in touch with P&T - this takes an unacceptable amount of time. We purchased our carrier for a trip through Europe, for four weeks I have been… Read more

trying to get the product fixed with very little customer service from either the retailer or P&T (they have sent out a replacement hood, but it is from a different older model and doesn't fit).

My advice would be to be sure the retailer you purchase from has great customer service, but still don't expect too much help if there is an issue with a faulty product. I will never again buy any product manufactured by Phil & Teds, it is too difficult to get any after sales service, which is really disappointing as their products seem very useful. Great product Customer service from P&T is abysmal

Excellent carrier! – We've had this carrier for the past 6 months and we literally take it everywhere. There is a good amount of support for both the baby and the parent. For the parent (me) there are various harnesses which ensure that the pack sits comfortably against my back and does not move around much. For our baby the seat is very comfortable. It's useful… Read more

for places where the pram really is a nuisance. For example when we catch a train and or go shopping or even for extended walks.

I might even consider purchasing the Escape now after having used this for some time. Relatively inexpensive, good material, sturdy build.

Great Fit, Lots of storage. Bad! customer service a little overrated – I bought the pack a few months ago and have used it 4 or 5 times after the first use the chest strap broke off. The strap slides up and down which is great for adjusting one user to another although it is weak. I barely tightened it and it popped off. Then I went and lost it. This is bad because Phill and Teds don't reply to Emails and warranty… Read more

claims to get a new strap. I've emailed 3 times and filled out the warranty but still no fix and no strap. I will never buy Phill and Teds products again simply because of the customer service. I paid a lot of money for this pack and would expect prompt service. Fits great, Baby seems comfortable, Lots of storage space. bad warranty service. should redesign chest strap its weak and will pop off if over tightend.

OK – it's an average baby backpack (my second), not really worth the extra expense. the material is sturdy enough but it would be a greater fit if the back length was adjustable. it's quite light. there's a roomy pack at the base but then again, most of the baby backpacks have those. padded 3-point harness for the baby. for petite women like me… Read more

(154cm), it doesn't fit well and the waist is designed for those with a greater than 28 inch waist. when the baby leans backwards, you get thrown off balance backwards.

Excellent – So handy. Fold flat - great for overhead luggage in a plane. Our daughter sleeps beautifully in the carrier. I love that it can take very young babies. The shade and rain covers are excellent. Our daughter is very small for her age and I tend to get quite tired carrying her. I am not sure how a particularly heavy child would go. WE LOVE THIS CARRIER!! It is so small and compact. Easy to load the child. There is very little storage space.

Good – A good backpack carrier. My son often gets restless if he is in his pram for too long, but he seems to be happy in this backpack for longer periods, maybe he feels like he is part of the action as he is up higher and closer to the rest of us. The storage pockets are big enough for nappies, wipes, water, snacks, etc. The removable sun & rain hood… Read more

tucks away nicely. Easy to use - you can get the child in or out in seconds. Good range of adjustment in the harness straps for different size adults.
