or flaking, just transfer's black stuff onto the cloth. I did phone Phillips and ended up speaking to a call center in the Philippine's. Fully explained my issue, asked if the black residue could be a health hazard and what it was made out of? No difference with Phillips call center than all the others I have phoned overseas, none of the "customer service" people want to know about it and always as in this case just made excuses and tried to say it was my fault? The guy wanted me to photograph the black on the tea towel and email the photo to him? He couldn't say why he wanted a photo of a now dirty tea towel except to say it was grease. I refused to send the photo as I explained the pan and bits were all washed very clean and my Bosch dishwasher also does a good job, regardless of how it's washed black stuff gets transferred onto the cloth. I still have no idea what type of plastic it is, in fact the guy told me it was metal which it definitely is not. It does the job, however, am I also getting a feed of plastic residue I still have no idea. Far from impressed with the call center, he just wanted me off the phone, therefore I would never buy a Phillips product again as support is so poor. EDIT: I did receive a personal reply from Phillips. They gave me a number to phone their Australian office, I did as asked and ended up talking to a guy in the Philippine's again. Putting aside the issue of some sort of unknown residue coming off, the support offered is non existent, they just keep fobbing me off. When you research an item to buy, I suggest you phone the "support center" first just to see what sort of service or lack of service you may have to endure if you buy that product. For me, Phillips products are off my shopping list.

this is most overused appliance in my kitchen – have progressed onto my second airfryer - the digital version and much better with touch button function. this is used for reheating leftovers, cooking veges and crumbed meats and fish and so quick although cleanup is the only downside Show details ·  1

Good every day appliance – We bought the HD9656/93 model from Costco in April 2020. We’ve been using it almost daily. Can’t complain. Big enough for a family of four (two young kids below 10). trying to carry a heavy airfryer, into a store 50 minutes from home, only to be told that they could not help me, as Phillips should have given me a R.A number. They could not call Phillips as it was after 4pm. They said they could not organise a replacement and that I would have to wait until the next day when they would call Phillips. The next day I was given a refund as they said Phillips had no replacement for me. I now have no airfryer and I am feeling very disappointed in the customer service provided by both Phillips and David Jones. For a $600 item you would expect much better treatment!!!

This does what it says – - As an air fryer its doing what it's supposed to do, There were lot of deep fried food I could not have for oil but I can have them now without any complication. - Cleaning part is a bit difficult though. Show details ·  1
